Over the weekend, Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested that President Trump would not honor the election results unless he lost by a large amount. The thought is that unless Trump loses seats in Congress and the Presidency by a large amount, Trump would contest the election through the courts and corrupt the public mind.
So the Democrats are again accusing Trump, before anything is done, with their own playbook! Hillary Clinton is going around the country on her speaking tour claiming that the election was stolen from her. She claims that you can run the campaign and win the nomination and have the election stolen. Not that you could lose based on the electoral process and lose by 77 electoral college votes. She’s not the only one.
Stacey Abrams, the Democrat who lost the Georgia governor race in 2018, is still claiming she did not lose her election either. Abrams lost the election by nearly 55,000 votes in 2018, but refused to give a concession speech and has maintained that she won the election ever since.
The Democrats continue to play the same playbook recently where they do something and accuse the Republicans of that action. Maybe the strategic planning portion of the party’s base has already moved along to the 2020 campaigns. Any way you look at it, the Democrats are being delusional. Their belief is that it is not possible for them to lose, even when they lose.
