The violent rhetoric of the Democrats must stop. There I said it and while you may or may not agree, I think there are a lot of reasons to justify the statement. The left has been pushing the issue of racism and white nationalism in regards to President Trump for quite a while now, blaming the President and Republicans for recent shootings that have taken place.
First of all, we know that the shooter in El Paso posted his manifesto online. I’ve personally read the manifesto and all throughout the document the shooter refers to the failures of Democrats AND Republicans in our country. He cites being against Republicans who are pro business because they favor immigration. He also cites violent video games in his manifesto and talks about fulfilling a soldier fantasy.
There’s also the shooting in Dayton where Democrats and the media continued to blame Trump and Republicans for the issues. Heavy.com found the accused shooters Twitter profile and many of the posts were shared. Some of those are shared below from Ryan Saavedra. I chose to share these from Ryan as he does not include the shooters name, something you will not find in our posts.
Does this sound like someone that was sent off into acting based on statements by President Trump? If you believe this lie, you can go ahead and stop reading now and find another article to read. This shooter was a leftist and it’s hard to place the blame on President Trump and the Republican Party for this.
Republicans and President Trump have called out white supremacy in the past. Democrats are often upset because Republicans are not quick to act on any tragedy with some form of ridiculous legislation as soon as it happens. Immediately after these tragedies, Democrats went into their “tragic shooting talking points” labeling Trump a white supremacist, a racist, calling for gun control and blaming the NRA for the lack of gun control.
Democrats will continue these talking points for weeks and there’s a very good possibility more shootings will happen. Why? Democrats refuse to call these tragedies a tragedy and come together as a nation. They use them to push party bias and attack Republicans for offering “thoughts and prayers” as they have done so much recently.
It’s not enough Republicans are concerned about their fellow Americans and praying for them in the time of tragedy. I do believe many Republicans would support some common sense gun legislation in the future. I do believe that background checks can be reformed where the purchase of any firearm would require a background check. This is subject that is supported in a bipartisan manner and should be worked on.
I fully believe that Republicans would also support more mental health initiatives to help combat gun violence. Mental health in this country needs work and tying mental health to gun purchases and ownership should be addressed. Gun violence includes far more than these tragic shootings, but also suicides, the number one cause of death by guns in the US.
In the end, the Democrats blame game of Trump and the Republicans has to stop. Just as much as the “squad” didn’t like being called idiots on a billboard in NC, the Democrats should stop with the white nationalist and racist accusations against President Trump. There’s things about everyone we can disagree with, but in times of tragedy like these, we need to pull together as Americans without the useless rhetoric.
