In a recent article over at The Hill, an author talked about the struggles Democrats will face in 2020. The author describes several cases in North Carolina of how Democrats are struggling. The concern for Democrats is that no one is excited about their candidates. We talked about this recently in a podcast and have written about it on the blog.
The Democrats have placed all their hopes into President Trump’s impeachment. Yet, everyone knows the impeachment process will not be successful. Prosecution will not happen in the Senate. Even still, Democrats are struggling to find a candidate to unite behind. We described how someone needs to save the Democratic Party on the podcast this week. Who do they need saving from? Themselves!
The Democratic candidates have moved so far to the left that they’ve alienated a good portion of their base. Sanders, Warren, Buttigieg and Biden have all made moves to grab at what they describe as socialist policies. While Sanders and Buttigieg have remained more center than the others, they continue to grab at these policies. These policies are not socialist policies, but rather communist policies. Let me explain.
Experts describe socialism as an economic policy while communism is a combination of economic policy and political policy. On the same website, communism is described as a system that focuses on removing class distinctions, religious freedoms, personal choice and allowing government to control business systems. Think about that a little bit as we look at the policy proposals of these communists running for President.
First, Sanders and Warren both argue for the removing of class distinctions. They have started a class warfare against anyone in the top percentages of earners. They want to eliminate classes, which is a staple of the communist agenda. Additionally, Buttigieg and others have attacked religious freedoms. We are told that we should not have freedom of religion if it believes anything against the liberal ideals.
Third, we are hearing the advocacy for Medicare for All, free education and more. Removal of the freedom of choice of an individual is a staple of communism. You would no longer have the ability to choose things for yourself, but rather the government would be choosing as the “government knows best.” As the website cited says, the government becomes the central owner and decision maker in all matters.
Sanders has come out and promised to end unemployment completely. This would imply a complete government takeover of all companies. This is not far from he plans of Elizabeth Warren where she has advocated for the removal of ownership of private business. On my recent trip to China, I experienced the communist nature of a country that owns all business and guarantees jobs. Believe me, the people I talked to were not happy. Living on an average salary equivalent to $12,000 US dollars and depending on the government for everything. Sounds appealing right?
On the business website cited earlier, it talks about how communism is a revolution from capitalism. I find this interesting since this is exactly what AOC, Sanders, Warren and others have called for. They want a revolution of our country, not a change in our country.

These Democrats are not socialists as they describe, they are communists. It’s time to start calling these people exactly what they are. Ask anyone who comes from a communist country, they do not want to go back. The people live in some of the poorest conditions and are miserable. They lack the ability to do what they want, the ability to chase their dreams.
Democrats may claim that they are fighting for socialism, but they are really fighting for communism. To support these Democrats is to give away the American dream. It’s time to show that these Democrats really are flying the flag of communism, not the flag of America.
