Do you remember months ago when Rep. Ilhan Omar and her media supporters spoke out against Trump rally chants? I certainly do. Soon after a Trump Rally in North Carolina in July, where the crowd chanted “send her back,” Omar and the media went after Trump. The media went on the attack for Trump allowing the “lock her up” and “send her back” chants while Omar called Trump a racist.
Fast forward to November and Rep. Omar apparently is okay with chants at a rally. Over the weekend, she had no issue with provoking “lock him up” chants while referring to Trump as an occupant of the White House. She continually goes on the attack against the President, all the while hiding behind her “unity” claim. This claim of unity is nothing but lip service.
There were no tweets or statements saying that she disagreed with the chants. There were no statements saying that we must unite the country against hatred, racism, or bigotry. Of course not, because Ilhan Omar supports hatred of conservatives, racism against white people and bigotry against anyone who is not so liberal-minded they lack the ability to think rationally. William Shakespeare once said, “Hell is empty, and all the devils are here.” He may just summed up American liberal politics in the 21st century.
If you want to refer to someone as a bigot, then you should come out against these types of actions. Ilhan Omar did not speak out at all against the statements or condemn them. In fact, as part of her statements, Omar stated that President Trump continues to push division, yet Omar does not give any example of inclusion for conservatives. It is the continued “us against them” mentality that the left has pushed. Inclusion only applies to liberal causes, not all causes.
It is the idea of the have and have-not society. This is exactly what these Democrats are pushing. I listen to a lot of Trump’s statements, to which he states “Americans” rather than “you and us.” The statements he makes referring to “you and us” only refers to the radical Democrats. Where is the unity among the Democratic Party? Well, unity only matters if you are a “select” American.
When you listen to the statements by Omar at the rally, she was not talking about all Americans. Omar is simply focused on special interests. She focused on LGBTQ, unions, etc. Unions represent less than 12% of American workers. LGBTQ represents less than 5 % of the American population. Like many of her colleagues, Omar would have the American people believe that these groups make up a massive-revolt for change in our country. Watching episodes of Live PD won’t make you a police officer. Similarly, pandering to less than 17% of the American population isn’t a revolution!
For other major plans of the Democrats, only 37% of Americans support Medicare for All once they understand the costs. The majority of Americans do not support free college. The support for this measure comes from college-age voters and recent graduates.
In the end, Ilhan Omar and the rest of the Democrats do not care about anything that unites us as a country. They continue to drive division and cater to special interest groups that can place them into power. Listening to Ilhan Omar’s statements at the Sanders rally did nothing but prove that she is a vile person.
