Democrats and the media celebrate a wasted day on Capitol Hill. The first day of the Democrat impeachment show was full of entertainment. So much entertainment and excitement that there are only two things worth mentioning from the entire day.
The first, Adam Schiff is still a liar and worthless representative. I know that is most likely surprising to anyone reading this article, but Schiff has no concept of the truth. In the past, Schiff proved he is full of lies. He lied about the transcript of the call. His only concern is to develop the narrative for the media to run with. He accomplished that with the transcript.
Then he really lied to the American people. He lied for months as he and his staff were approached by the whistleblower and discussed how to write the report. He held this secret without notifying any other members of Congress and the intelligence committee. Then he went a step further.
In an exchange with Rep. Jim Jordan, Schiff denied knowing the whistleblower. Now, it’s interesting to me that he claims to not know who this individual is. He threatened anyone who brought up the name with disciplinary action in the investigations. How would he know if they brought the name up since he doesn’t know who it is? Also, I have visited congressional offices. They ask who you are and why you are contacting each time you either reach out or visit.
Schiff put on a good show today however. He did not let his emotions get him in his rebukes of Republican congressmen. He sat with a smirk on his face most of the hearing, simply following the script for the event. The entire thing simply felt orchestrated.
The second thing to take away from today is the “new information” that the left is celebrating. The left quickly celebrated as a testimony was updated from one of the witnesses. Bill Taylor updated his testimony that “someone overheard something” during a phone call. The left is celebrating this as if it’s ground breaking and earth changing information.
Maybe the Democrats have forgotten that second hand information is exactly what the whistleblower shared? The whistleblower was not on the phone call, receiving his information from others around during the call. Democrats refuse to call the only real person with a valid complaint – the whistleblower.
Rep. Jordan was all over this fact as he interviewed the witnesses today. Everything said was hearsay and no one was present on the call. If the whistleblower has knowledge, should he not be the one testifying?

I think Republicans did a great job in the situation they were in. They presented the absence of evidence well. They described well how Democrats started this process before Trump’s election. The Democrats sham inquiry will continue for several weeks, absent from any evidence or truth from the left.
