On Thursday, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf vetoed a bill in support of murder. Wolf made a statement that the veto was in regards to women’s healthcare and standards of care, but it’s just another example of the Democrats ignoring reality in favor of their special interests.
The bill would have made it illegal to abort a baby due to a fetal diagnosis of Down syndrome in the womb. None of these tests performed in utero are 100% accurate. I have read stories of diagnosis in utero of birth defects that were not accurate. We’ll leave that for another day.
The real issue here is that a Democrat governor again decided against allowing a child to be born. Since it’s legalization, millions of American children have been murdered in the name of abortion. I ran across this on the LiveAction.org Twitter page that made a great point.

Abortion will continue to be a topic as we approach the election cycle. Various abortion laws are making their way through the court system and quickly to the Supreme Court. The court has already agreed to hear a case from Louisiana regarding admitting privileges for abortion doctors.
The left continues to wage the war against the unborn in many ways. Recent reports are that Google has been modifying search results for subjects like abortion, feeding results instead for Planned Parenthood. While some attempt to pass laws to save lives and allow children to be born, others seek to destroy any potential of that through any means necessary.
Many of these children would be able to find homes, if allowed. What I mean is that there are people all over this country that are willing to adopt children. According to Adoption.org, approximately 140,000 children are adopted each year in the United States. Why is this not higher? Well, it’s most likely due restrictions and cost.
As someone who has went through the adoption process, the process is not easy or cheap. According to AdoptUSKids, a US adoption can cost anywhere from $8,000 to $40,000. I have countless friends who say they would like to adopt but simply cannot afford it. I am sure there are many more American’s in this same situation.
Congress has the ability to act and to help. Legislation was introduced to make changes to the adoption tax credit earlier this year. Why do we want to publicly fund murder, but we will not fund adoption? Many states cover abortions on Medicaid plans, but refuse to provide adoption assistance for those who wish to adopt.
So while states like Pennsylvania continue to look for ways to promote murder, I would love to see our Supreme Court take these cases banning abortion. Maybe we can get Congress to focus on helping provide funding for families for adoption. Finally, the Democrats need to stop focusing on abortion as healthcare.
Abortion is murder any way you look at it. It’s time for Democrats to start realizing this is a human rights issue. That child is a human and has rights. The value of human life is important and life is more than simply a choice.
Our founding fathers considered life an unalienable right. It’s hard to enjoy any other right if you do not have life. Yet, abortion advocates say it’s simply eliminating an inconvenience. The left needs to quit focusing on their murderous ways and start focusing on how we address this humanitarian crisis in our own backyard.
