Time magazine has chosen Greta Thunberg, a Swedish climate crisis activist, as person of the year.
Thunberg, 16, is the youngest individual to be recognized. She gained international attention for excoriating world leaders for their inaction in the climate crisis in a viral speech she made at the UN Climate Action Summit in September. She criticized world leaders again at the COP25 conference last week. “Thunberg has become the biggest voice on the biggest issue facing the planet—and the avatar of a broader generational shift in our culture that is playing out everywhere from the campuses of Hong Kong to the halls of Congress in Washington,” Time editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal wrote.
Time’s other finalists were three people at the center of the impeachment proceedings against President Trump: the president himself, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the anonymous whistle blower whose complaint helped set the impeachment inquiry in motion. However, in proper liberal-fashion, Time Magazine has turned to political pandering of the Left to continue to establish legitimacy in print media that has taken a bloodbath as of late.
In September 2018, Salesforce.com, along with co-founder Marc Benioff and his wife Lynne, purchased the once renowned magazine for $190 million. With yearly revenue losses of 10% and greater, Time Magazine has found itself lost in both their business solvency and their selections for “Person of the Year.” Since 1927, Time Magazine has named such individuals as:
• Charles Lindbergh (1927)
• Mahatma Gandhi (1930)
• Franklin D. Roosevelt (1932, 1934 & 1941)
• Adolf Hitler (1938)
• Ronald Reagan (1980 & 1983)
• Barack Obama (2008 & 2012)
• Donald Trump (2016)
And now, a 16-year-old Swedish political puppet of the global Left, who paraded around the United Nations, disseminating fuzzy liberal thinking and slanted scientific junk before the world. In all of the events that transpired in 2019, those sane Americans still residing on the reservation, are left pondering, “Is this the best that the Left could muster?” After all, 2019 has been plagued with James Comey, Robert Mueller, and his failed investigation, Nancy Pelosi and her esteemed hatred for American conservatism, ISIS, assault weapons, and the list go on and on. And yet, we are to believe that this non-American adolescent is the most impactful person on the globe? Young Greta has never been one to receive accolades; however, this time, she made an exception.

Of course, Liberals here and abroad came to both young Greta and Time Magazine’s selection. Former Vice President, Al Gore, took to Twitter to sing his praises.

The ever-elusive Al Gore, the former inventor of the internet, ventures out just enough to revel in symbiotic idiocy. However, not all were won over by all the Greta glimmer and glimmer. The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., criticized Time on Twitter, saying the magazine passed over “the Hong Kong Protesters fighting for their lives and freedoms to push a teen being used as a marketing gimmick.” Today, fighting for life and liberal takes a backseat to the Liberal Agenda, and their continued push to brainwash America and abroad into believing their belligerent junk science.
So, if global recognition is what you are after, then grab a pack of cardboard, some markers, camp outside of governmental buildings, and don’t forget to smile for the Liberal-laden camera – you will be branded across the globe in an instant…just as long as you are fighting for the Liberal Cause. If you fight for Democracy or against terrorism, there is no room for you on the global stage, or the cover of a defunct, has-been magazine.
