Senator Elizabeth Warren bills herself as the candidate with a plan. Well, that’s 67 plans to be exact according to her website. Some of her plans are simple while others complex, but all of them lay out the liberal road map for the future. This is not just Elizabeth Warren’s plans, but this is the plan for all of the left.
Yet, there’s still a couple plans that Elizabeth Warren has yet to figure out. One plan is how to win the Democratic nomination. After her October surge, she has struggled since and remains third in the still crowded field. Other than her plans, she has yet to set herself apart from the rest of the field.
The second plan she has failed is how to convince American’s to go along with all her plans. Her plans are extremely radical. We’re not talking just a little to the left. These plans are moving completely across left field and into a new field. The plans are socialism on steroids, where business and money is the enemy.
She has failed to garner the support of some of the young base of the party. AOC and the squad have seemed to all rally behind socialist in chief Bernie Sanders. Warren does not have the same level of excitement behind her campaign. Which is leading her to make missteps and bad decisions.
If Pocahontas’ campaign didn’t start of bad enough, she has apparently upset her family through her wild claims. Her brother recently spoke out against her and said she is misleading in her statements. But when has she not been misleading? From her claims about her heritage to her claims about her employment, Warren is willing to say anything to be elected.
But the failure of the plan goes much further than simply Elizabeth Warren. Democrats in general have failed to secure any support of their plans for America. In a recent Economist/YouGov poll, 45% of Americans believe this Congress is worse than the last. In a recent Politico/Morning Consult poll, 60% say they have little or no confidence in Congress.
The Democrats have had the benefit of media helping paint President Trump as anything from a failure to a horrible President. But their plan does not resonate with the American people. If you don’t believe me, you can simply look at the changes in polling numbers recently.
I do not always agree with the polling numbers, but something interesting is showing over at Real Clear Politics. Where Trump used to consistently trail the Democratic candidates, the shift has moved well within the margin of error or with Trump leading the candidates. The media can report that American’s do not like Trump all they want. The truth is, American’s do not like the Democrats plans either.
The Democrats and candidates, like Warren, can release all the plans they want. They’ve released hundreds of expensive and costly plans that we simply cannot afford. American’s see through this and do not support it. Now, will this reflect at the ballot box in November of 2020? It will certainly be interesting to see.
