Nearly three days after the Iowa caucus debacle, almost every candidate minus Uncle Joe, has claimed victory. All of this, without all 100% of the votes, calculated. Mayor Pete, Bolshevik Bernie, Pocahontas, and the Gang have left the nation’s heartland for the newer pastures of New Hampshire in hopes of maintaining momentum or attempting to keep their pathetic political existence off of Liberal Life Support. With not one Democrat the clear front runner after Iowa, the political tea leaves indicate a change in this year’s whacky political weather. The Democratic approach to primary elections, like Jell-O, there’s always room for more. Enter, Michael Bloomberg.
After announcing his candidacy for president in late-November 2019, the past New York City mayor has blitzed the airwaves and newspapers of America – spending over $200 million of his own money, and interjecting in swing states like North Carolina and Ohio. Bloomberg, the 8th richest man in the world, according to Forbes, with an estimated wealth of over 60-billion dollars, is poised to take on the Democratic Super PACs without huge financial donors. In fact, according to reports, Bloomberg has not accepted monetary donations from any financier and is outspending his Democratic counterparts at 2,3 and 4:1 margins.
But can Michael really win? Is his candidacy really viable? Prior to the Iowa caucuses, CNN, MSNBC, and various other Liberal media outlets were protesting Bloomberg’s involvement in the election, and that he was being allowed to participate in Friday’s upcoming Democratic debate despite meeting the requirements required for other early Dem departures. A spokeswoman for Bernie Sanders stated that Bloomberg’s acceptance was racially motivated and he was being held to a different standard than Kamala Harris and Corey Booker, due to his race and wealth.
The Democratic Party finds itself in a very peculiar situation. Does the DNC continue to allow for less than lackluster performances of a failed mayor from Indiana, a self-proclaimed socialist, a .000000001% Native American washed up law professor and a granddaughter mouth-kissing, ex-Vice President? Or, does it allow for a financially successful, wealthy New Yorker to take on well, another financially successful, wealthy New Yorker?
As much as it pains me to say this, Bloomberg is a viable candidate. In fact, I would submit that he is the ONLY DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE poised and able to take on Trump in a national election. Will the Democratic Party allow for a billionaire to take the reigns of a party that has promised and pandered to the poor for nearly a century? After all, it was the Democrats that stated that Trump, as a result of his wealth, was so out-of-touch with reality and had “no clue” on how “real Americans” feel.
One thing is for certain, after New Hampshire, Klobuchar, Yang, and the other dismal Dems will call it quits; setting the stage for the 3 Stooges and 1 Stoogess to battle it out until Super Tuesday, or until the Democratic convention. Although I know, I question the mental capacities of Liberals on nearly a daily basis – politically, they are not dumb. Democratic Party Chairs know deep down that Pete and the rest of his “Dreamcoat Dems of Friends” cannot, and will not beat POTUS in the general election. They also know that not having a candidate before the convention will spell disaster for their party, and further elude to the eroding and erraticacy of the DNC.
This is where Bloomberg becomes a great choice for the Democrats. First, he is not financially dependent on the party for support. A man willing to spend $100-million a month of his own money in a primary season, in states he hasn’t even visited yet, show real political promise. After all, due to Pelosi’s failed impeachment, and “Fixadent Freakshow” during the State of the Union Address, Democrats know that they will need severe financial backing to counter Trump’s personal and political wealth.
Bloomberg is not the best candidate that the Dems could muster to replace the rejects currently on parade. Let’s face it – that isn’t’ really the issue here. After all, the Democratic Party is used to fielding lunatics and washed up whackos. Does anyone remember Howard Dean? He “WHOOO HOOOED” himself into oblivion, seemingly overnight. I believe he is selling portajohns to the city of San Francisco – who knows? The point is this – Bloomberg is the only candidate who is poised and politically “manufactured” to keep Trump from winning the 2020 election by 9:00 PM EST. Democrats may hate money, but they need their own billionaire to bounce back, or they will find themselves with bigger problems than Nancy Pelosi without denture adhsive.
