Earlier today, Fox News broke a story about a 2015 audio clip that indicated Michael Bloomberg’s true feelings regarding minorities – identifying them as criminals who warrant law enforcement targeting. In the audio clip of the 2015Â speech, Bloomberg gave to the Aspen Institute, the billionaire acknowledged that “stop and frisk” targeted minority “kids” whom cops must throw “up against the wall” to disarm. The Aspen Times reported at the time that Bloomberg representatives asked the Institute not to distribute footage of his appearance.
“Ninety-five percent of murders- murderers and murder victims fit one M.O. You can take a description, Xerox it, and pass it out to all the cops,” he said. “They are male, minorities, 16-25. That’s true in New York, that’s true in virtually every city (inaudible). And that’s where the real crime is. You’ve got to get the guns out of the hands of people that are getting killed.” Additionally, Bloomberg stated that an increase in law enforcement presence was needed in “minority neighborhoods” as a deterrent to prevent near-inevitable crime.Â
In traditional Democratic fashion, the Bloomberg camp was quick to issue an immediate apology. Over time I’ve come to understand something that I’ve long struggled to admit to myself,” Bloomberg told congregants at the Christian Cultural Center in the East New York neighborhood of Brooklyn. “I got something important wrong. I got something important, really wrong.”
Bloomberg defended his intentions, which were to reduce gun violence, but admitted that he made an error in how he went about it, even noting that when he put in safeguards to reduce police stops, crime did not go up. “Today, I want you to know that I realize that back then, I was wrong,” he said. “And, I’m sorry.”
From Blackface to backroom bigotry, the Democratic Party is frequently getting caught on the carpet for their racist comments toward African Americans and other minority groups. In early 2007, Biden faced criticism after describing then-senator Barack Obama: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” He later apologized for his comments. Hillary Clinton, during her husband’s presidency, referred to the need for more law enforcement in minority areas to prevent the rise of “super predators.” Â
Our nation need not forget the long history of racism, deeply cemented in the roots of the Democratic Party. In the year 2020, not much has changed. At the last Democratic debate, every liberal candidate referred to African Americans as “blacks.” Could you imagine the outcry from the liberal media and pundits if a bunch of white, Republican candidates continuously applied to the African American race as merely “the blacks?”Â
The Democratic Party is the TRUE party of division. In their eyes, you either pander to people, or you neglect them. You either support gay rights, or you are a bigot. Either you are onboard for Democratic Socialism, or you are a wealthy elite, hell-bent on keeping Americans poor.Â
The real racists are on the left. Consider Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley saying, “We don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice.” Can you imagine the outcry if a Republican uttered these words?Â
The hypocrisy is in the racist hoopla – spouted from the mouths of Democrats who swear that they have the best intentions at heart for American minorities. Democrats view minorities as disenfranchised, disadvantaged populations that need the government to become successful. That is simply a vicious lie. Democrats need minorities more than minorities need them. Let’s face it; under Trump, minority wages are the highest in history. Record low poverty and people on government assistance. Under Obama, these numbers were at astounding highs – and for a good reason.
As an African American president, it was vital that Obama appeal to his minority base – demanding their support to assist him assist them. Warping the human mind into a sense of dependency is powerful. Republicans are not the ones keeping minorities down – in fact, just the opposite. In a healthy economy, all classes and races of people flourish – not only the wealthy. The Democratic party paints the minority populations in this country as victims – a pathetic attempt to keep the poor, poorer. Like someone who whips a dog to demand obedience, today’s Democrats whip up a frenzy of them against you – when in reality, it is their party that wants to keep both their racism and minorities in the closet.
