Atlanta, G.A. – On Sunday, CNN’s Jake Tapper spoke directly to President Trump asking for a plan. Apparently, CNN was proud as they ran an entire article that outlined Tapper’s statements to Trump. The segment was at the end of Tapper’s ‘State of the Union’ show on Sunday.
In his comments, Tapper specifically asked Trump what the plan was. He asked for a plan for testing. He asked for a plan for PPE for healthcare workers. Tapper also asked for ventilators and information about masks from the CDC. The comments were nothing more than grandstanding by the outright left wing network.
Near the end, Tapper said this was not about winning a new cycle with Fox, but that the American people are looking for answers. The funny thing is, the American people are getting answers. A lot of answers in fact. President Trump is taking to press conferences daily to update the American people regarding his plan. There’s just one problem.
The left wing network called CNN refuses to show the press conferences in their entirety. Another CNN anchor, Don Lemon, had asked the network to stop carrying the press conferences all together. Evidently, Jake Tapper cannot get his answers as to Trump’s plans because he only wastes his time watching CNN.
Evening after evening, President Trump shares his plan and thoughts from the press briefing room. He’s surrounded by medical and government experts. Each of these individuals shares their thoughts, plans and ideas as we move forward. Plans have been shared to produce new ventilators and masks. President Trump has invoked the Defense Protection Act to help as well.
This is not enough for CNN, however. The organization has a personal vendetta against President Trump. Project Veritas did a great job exposing CNN for exactly what it was. The network is biased and is out for their own agenda. This is just another example of how CNN is attempting to push President Trump into something.
They would love nothing more than President Trump to make a statement, but be unable to perform that statement. They want President Trump to ad lib something, just so they can attack it. That has been their game plan the entire time. He suggested that some treatments were showing promise in the fight against coronavirus, but CNN refuses to acknowledge it. They continue to attack, as multiple news agencies have admitted that the treatments are working.
Trump continues to tell us that ventilators are being made and on the way. The administration has secured medications for treatment for those who may be sick. He wants 3M to keep masks at home, rather than sending them to other countries. Unfortunately, in a pandemic situation you adapt and overcome as the situation evolves.
Multiple companies have been showcased as part of these events as well. Abbott Laboratories developed a 5 minute COVID test. Trump touted the test. The media response was to attack because there wasn’t enough to test the entire country. He touted the medications and drug manufacturers who make them, but the media response was to attack him because he didn’t have ventilators. The media continues the attacks related to the ventilators.
So while Jake Tapper wants to try to continue the media onslaught on President Trump, maybe he should look at his employer. Perhaps he should turn the news to a different channel. Other organizations are covering the Trump news conferences. Americans across the country can tune in and get the information direct from President Trump.
CNN should actually try to report the news for once. It’s obvious that their current corporate plans of attacking Trump like this are not working. CNN could not get one show to break into the top 20 in the first quarter. They even lost in viewers to ESPN who has absolutely zero sporting events to cover right now. Maybe if they actually reported the news and focused on what Americans were interested in, they would be relevant again.
