Washington, DC – The list of names provided by Richard Grenell has now been made public. Several big names are on the list, including that of former Vice President Joe Biden and former FBI Director James Comey.
Some other big names are on the list as well, such as James Clapper, John Brennan and the former White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough. Each of the individuals on the list had requested unmasking between the election and the inauguration of President Trump. Some of them multiple times. Sixteen people total are on the list.
The list does identify that all of these individuals may not have seen the information, but it does raise a lot of questions. Joe Biden recently denied knowing anything about the Flynn investigation. It certainly does not look good for Biden.
Other key administration officials have also denied knowledge, but are we naive enough to believe that they had no knowledge based on this information? In the Fox News article on the list, it is shared that some of the requests came on interesting days involving some key Oval Office meetings.
In that specific meeting, Obama requested individuals to stay behind after a briefing to discuss Michael Flynn. He asked if Flynn should be treated any differently given the information. So obviously Obama had knowledge of what was taking place. As a reminder, there was no evidence found in the FBI’s investigation into Flynn.
Senate Republicans have indicated that they have no desire to investigate the former administration, which should raise some questions. Why would they not want to investigate? If you have mounting evidence, is there not some fashion of investigation that is deserved?
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has invited Grenell to testify before a subcommittee, but he has so far refused the invitation. Grenell states he will continue to make information available as requested.
As the evidence continues to mount, there are a lot of questions that remain. It’s apparent that Democrats across the administration and Congress were all aware that there was no evidence of collusion. They simply needed a story.
It’s a story they have been feeding the American people for over 3 years. Those 3 years that they have spent wasting taxpayer dollars on wasted investigations. The Republicans can say that they do not want to investigate, but they owe it to the American people as well.
There was absolutely no evidence of Russia collusion. We heard talks of a smoking gun. Here is the smoking gun. It’s time for the Senate Republicans to act on it.
