Charlotte, NC – On Tuesday, NC Governor Roy Cooper said that North Carolina would not approve the requests of the RNC to have a full convention without restrictions. This comes weeks after President Trump made demands for such, or threatened to move the convention.
It appears that threat will come to pass. On Tuesday night, Trump made the following statement on social media.

The RNC chairwoman has not made an official statement at this point. She released a statement earlier in the day after Cooper’s letter was sent to the RNC, confirming that the event may need to move.
The RNC was expected to bring millions of dollars to the ravished North Carolina economy that is struggling due to coronavirus and extended stay orders. This story is developing, and we will have more information in the morning.
