Charlotte, NC — “Bye bye Tucker Carlson!” T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert tweeted earlier this week in response to consumers who criticized the advertisers on Carlson’s show.
It definitely is not. Bye-bye Tucker Carlson! #BlackLivesMatter

Sievert said on Twitter that T-Mobile hadn’t bought any air tie on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” for “about a month, and we won’t be in the future, either.”
So why the outcry to cancel advertisements on Tucker Carlson’s show that airs weeknights on the Fox News Channel?
The proximate cause for this stems around comments Tucker made about the Black Lives Matter movement. Tucker said this past Monday night, “this may be a lot of things, this moment we’re living through, but it’s not about black lives.” He continued, “Remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will.”
His opening monologue can be seen in its entirety here:
This is not a time to submit. Just tell the truth. Watch if you missed tonight’s show. https://t.co/Jdb0YkGM3Q

Many people heard Carlson saying, “black people are coming for you.” The next day, Fox came out with a clarifying statement saying, “Tucker’s warning about ‘when they come for you’ was referring to Democratic leaders and inner-city politicians.”
In typical Leftist cancel-culture fashion, the outcry continued similarly that of T-Mobile’s CEO as they rushed to condemn what Carlson said. However, many on Twitter rallied behind Carlson.
The hashtag #IStandWithTucker trended this past Friday on Twitter. Prominent public figures voiced their support for Fox News host.
Congressman Matt Gaetz tweeted, “Tucker essentially proves the Papa Johns slogan every night. Better ingredients, Better Television. #IStandWithTucker.”

Founder of the grassroots national security organization ACT for America, Bridgitte Gabriel also joined in on Twitter, saying, “Rt if you stand with Tucker Carlson! Do not let the radical left silence him!”

Senior legal advisor to the Trump Team, Jenna Ellis also tweeted her support:
The Left can’t handle the truth. Much less tolerate anything they disagree with.@foxnews should just let @TuckerCarlson have a full uninterrupted hour. https://t.co/r3Yusplo5M

Also, Burgess Owens, who is a former NFL player and now a candidate in the 2020 Republican primary for Utah’s 4th congressional district, supported Carlson by saying, “I want to thank @TuckerCarlson for speaking unpopular truth. He said what needed to be said, what silenced leaders in the black community have been trying to say for decades. Thank you, I’ve seen these con artists attack my race all my life. Thank you for standing against them.”

Tucker’s monologue posited that Black Lives Matter has now become a political party. The monologue this past Monday served as a reflection of the events that transpired across our nation last weekend. Tucker stated,
“This was without precedent in the modern era. A small group of highly aggressive emotionally charged activists took over our culture. They forced the entire country to obey their will. It all happened so fast and with such ferocity that virtually no one resisted it. People seem bewildered, even stunned by what was happening. Statements of fact and opinion that were entirely within the bounds of reasonable conversation just last Sunday, suddenly, a week later, were enough to get you fired from your job. And a number of people were fired.”
In the future, the left envisions, the only people who will have guns are people on their team, and that’s precisely what defund the police means. It means woke militia policing our cities, enforcing Democratic Party orthodoxy. One need not look any further than the 6 Seattle blocks that has now officially been renamed “CHAZ” or “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.”
It should be noted the first thing they did was build a wall.
Tucker’s main point with Black Lives Matters can be encapsulated here:
“Here’s the new rule and it defines everything: You are not allowed to question Black Lives Matter in any way. Full stop. That rule has been enforced without mercy everywhere and not just in this country.”
Thank you for your sharing. I am worried that I lack creative ideas. It is your article that makes me full of hope. Thank you. But, I have a question, can you help me?
