Atlanta, G.A. – BET founder Robert Johnson calls on the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement to form a new third party to fight for their interests. Johnson’s call comes after his comments in a Fox News interview that Democrats are taking black voters “for granted.”
“Vice President Biden said to an African-American, a black American host on his show, even if you think about voting for Donald Trump, you’re not black,” Johnson told Fox News. “To have that mindset, you must have the attitude that we, black Americans, [we] own you. We can take you for granted … That, to me, shows you that black Americans are an appendage of a party.”
Johnson, the first black billionaire in the United States, underscored the significance of the Black Lives Matter movement that has swept the nation in the wake of George Floyd’s death on May 25 in Minneapolis, Minn. He said he’s “never seen a group this strong since the civil rights movement.”
Johnson, like many on the left in this country, sees the BLM movement as a necessity for the preservation and advancement of the black race. Outside the view of the radical rose-colored glasses of progressive liberals, lies the truth of the lunacy that as spread across the nation.
Johnson is incredibly inaccurate in his bait-and-switch of intentions behind the BLM movement. Unlike the civil rights activists of the 1960s, members of the Black Lives Matter organization are nothing more than a domestic terrorist, using violence, hysteria, and dangerous rhetoric to push-along a reversed, anti-white, anti-American agenda.
The tearing down of national monuments of ex-presidents and national heroes that helped establish our nation’s democracy is not something that helped create the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Instead, non-violent, round table, grassroots movements helped gain government leaders’ attention and private citizens across our country to democratically demand change and mandate equality for all races.
Radical members of organizations like the BLM are squandering their chances of being taken seriously by most of America. Unlike in the past, the death of George Floyd was unequivocally wrong – in fact, it was outright murder. For once, there wasn’t missing video footage or debatable actions to question or warrant his death by police officers.
Yet, instead of honoring Floyd’s life, which was cut short by hatred and negligence, the thuggish actions of the BLM and other democratically-endorsed organizations have erased any chance for real change. When the smoke of destruction and tear gas fades away from the streets of Seattle and Washington D.C, the legacy and future of real change for minorities will evaporate behind the backdrop of continued, failed, liberal endorsed fanaticism.
