Charlotte, N.C. — The country saw three events last week that showed the Democrats true agenda: they don’t want a simple transfer of power if they win the election in November. Instead, they intend to revolutionize our entire system of government.
In 2016 the terms socialism or socialist was hardly mentioned. In just a short time, the idea of having a socialist as the Democratic presidential nominee was a scary reality that could no longer be ignored. President Trump reassured the American people in his 2019 State of the Union address that America will never be a socialist nation.
According to Breitbart’s Joel B. Pollak, we saw evidence of this last week when Democrats “blocked the Senate from considering a bill on police reform by Senator Tim Scott (R-SC). The lone black Republican Senator has been working on the issue for years. He had the full support of the rest of the Republican caucus, too. Moreover, he also agreed to consider whatever amendments (20 total) the Democrats offered.
Millions of Americans were outraged over the events that led to George Floyd’s death. For a brief moment, there was bipartisan agreement on the need for police reform. Senator Scott used language directly from bills offered by Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI), and Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
Scott tweeted the following regarding the Democrats’ obstruction of the Justice Act.
The Democrats walked out. Their issue is not police reform or helping the kids in the poorest neighborhoods. They want to bring November before July and campaign on police reform. It's devastating. #JUSTICEAct pic.twitter.com/Zmm59xSkvf

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said, “Democrats say they disagree with parts of @SenatorTimScott’s bill. Fine. The Senate has a way to settle policy differences. It’s called legislating. The only reason to duck the whole process is if Democrats would rather preserve a campaign issue than find a bipartisan solution.”

Sadly, Democrats still used the filibuster to block the bill from even being debated.
Senator Scott gave a fiery speech on the Senator floor in response to the Democrats successfully blocking this bill. It can be seen here:
Ahead of today's vote, I offered to include an amendment for every concern that was presented. They didn’t stick around for that meeting. This vote is an opportunity to say yes to those folks who are waiting for leadership to stand and be counted. #JUSTICEAct pic.twitter.com/N56EwrSx0V

These efforts showed “Democrats do not care about police reform nor do they want to unite the nation behind any sort of bipartisan compromise. They simply want to use the issue in the elections, which they hope will give them the House, the Senate, and the presidency. Then they can get rid of the filibuster and pass whatever they want,” according to Pollak.
The desire to scrap the filibuster is both realistic and probable should Democrats win in November. One of Joe Biden’s top allies in Congress is open to scrapping the filibuster entirely if the former vice president were to win in November.
Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), who occupies the United States Senate seat Biden held for nearly 40 years, made the admission to Politico. The senator argued that while he was generally opposed to eliminating the filibuster on principle, he was also unwilling to allow Biden’s political agenda to falter because of the rule.
On that same day, the second episode took place in the Democrat-dominated Oakland, California, when the school board unanimously voted to abolish the police force in local public schools. With school shootings still a concern, the board bowed to the wishes of Black Lives Matter activists and removed a crucial layer of defense for the city’s children.
This isn’t an isolated incident. Democrats on the Minneapolis City Council voted Friday to disband their city’s police department. The bumper sticker slogan “Defund the Police” has gained traction. According to his June 9th monologue, Tucker Carlson stated that,
“The Left envisions the only people who will have guns are people on their team, and that’s exactly what defund the police really means. It means a woke militia policing our cities, enforcing Democratic Party orthodoxy.”
The Democratic Party is not interested in rational decisions on public policy. They are committed to a revolutionary course and will stop at nothing to see it realized.
The third instance was on Friday. The House of Representatives voted along party lines to make Washington, D.C. the 51st state.
The main reason for adding another state is simple: it would add two Democratic Senators. This means Republicans would have to work much harder to gain a majority. This majority voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and 200 federal judges appointed by President Obama.
For perspective, Clinton won the District with 90.9% of the vote. Think the “swamp” doesn’t have a vested interest in maintaining their massive bureaucracy? Of course!
The priorities displayed show a stunning lack of understanding of the issues currently facing the American people. Republican Congressman and former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw (TX-2) said in a tweet Friday that “progressive policies are not American policies.”
Want to know what Pelosi’s House prioritized today? Washington DC statehood. That was the vote.
-Not protecting small businesses from lawsuits
-Not getting Americans off unemployment & back to work
-Not holding China accountable.Progressive priorities. Not American priorities.

Every election, we hear the same refrain: “This is the most important election of our lifetime.” A Joe Biden presidency and Democrats controlling both sides of Congress, this socialist revolution will become a reality.
