The President is on his way back to the White House

Charlotte, NC – President Trump took to Twitter on Monday to share that he will soon be leaving the Walter Reed Medical Center. President Trump said that after being at the facility for treatment, he will be returning to the White House.

I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!

President Trump said that American’s should not fear COVID-19 and that there has been a lot of progress made to address the Chinese coronavirus. He shared he felt great, but his statements did not leave some across social media feeling great.

Many responded calling his tweet a slap in the face to anyone who lost a loved one to this virus. Others called the President names, claiming that he is responsible for the spread of the virus around the White House. News was released on Monday that Press Secretary Kaleigh McEnany and two aides are positive for coronavirus.

President Trump also defended his criticized ride around the Walter Reed Medical Center over the weekend. The mainstream media has been critical of the event, saying he unnecessarily put lives at risk. The President indicated that no matter what he did, he would have been criticized.

It is reported that the Media is upset because I got into a secure vehicle to say thank you to the many fans and supporters who were standing outside of the hospital for many hours, and even days, to pay their respect to their President. If I didn’t do it, Media would say RUDE!!!

Now that the President is back in the White House, I am sure that his social media usage and statements will ramp up. The focus will be on not just returning to the White House from COVID-19, but returning to the White House for 4 more years.

The Real Clear Politics average still sits at over 8% less than 30 days out from the election. Many post debate polls have shown the gap widening, while there has continued to remain some encouraging news in some key states.

Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, and Arizona all remain in the too close to call race as it stands right now. Other key states continue to show tightening in the race. The change nationally has been in the Democrat led areas, which continue to show Biden pulling large numbers.

President Trump feels strongly about his reelection opportunities, while many in the mainstream media and polling industry have written him off. At this same time in 2016, pollsters had Hillary Clinton up over 5 points versus President Trump. There is still plenty of time in the race for continued changes, with debates still scheduled.
