Orlando, FL — Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried, has been very outspoken in her criticism of Gov. Ron DeSantis in the past year. Grasping onto her sense of power, Fried has been critical of DeSantis, the vaccine rollout, and literally everything esle that DeSantis has done in the past few years.
Friend was recently on the “New Normal” podcast, where she accused Gov. DeSantis of having COVID-19 last year as he “went into hiding” as she calls it. She suggested that DeSantis was taking all his orders from President Trump. She said that he was only concerned with the millionaires.
That’s an interesting claim from Friend, who has a questionable financial background herself. Fried misled people in Florida by purposefully omitting information on her financial disclosures from 2018. She declined to provide copies of her tax returns, a point that many Democrats have argued is essential.
What’s even more concerning is that Fried also went from having a net worth of approximately $200,000 to a net worth of well over $1 million in one year. She failed to list secondary sources of income and listed income from the State of Florida before she ever worked for the state of Florida.
Fried is an experienced lobbyist, running her own lobbying firm called Igniting Florida, LLC. She has refused to share assets that are held in her blind trust amid questions from media outlets across the state.
Fried may want to be critical of DeSantis and Pesident Trump, her Twitter feed is full of criticism and praise for Biden, but certaily does not want to deal with the skeletons in her own closet. The sitaution surrounding Fried smells like crooked Democrat.
She wants to be critical of DeSantis, accusing him of being a Trump worshipper essentially. While she does this, she fails to recognize that President Joe Biden’s team has been following the Trump COVID plans since taking office. The vaccine distribution has not changed, aside from the recent addition of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Democrats are also signaling that school is safe to open, a move that fromer President Trump suggested was a safe move while in office. He also suggested that economies should not be closed either. Fried’s own state of Florida is a prime example of how remaining open has not caused any more harm. While she wants to attack DeSantis for his actions, the data and science that Democrats love tell the full story.
What we are seeing is the annointing of the Democrats of their chosen person to go after Ron DeSantis. They want her to attack him at every chance. If DeSantis runs for Governor again, this will be his challenger. If he chooses not to run and focus on national politics, they are hoping she is able to damage him.
As the old saying goes, where there is smoke there is fire. There is an amazing amount of smoke that smells like corruption surrounding Fried. Her finances and secretive business dealings have the appearance of the typical Democrat corruption scheme that we all have come to expect. As she continues to attack DeSantis, I expect that more will come out about her corrupt business dealings and lobbying.
It’s very clear, the Democrats are scared of Ron DeSantis. If they weren’t so scared, they would not be devoting so much time and attention to attacking him.
