Charlotte, NC — There has been a lot of discussion about former President Trump’s takeover of the Republican party since his CPAC speech a couple of weeks ago. Trump specifically said that he had no intention to create a third party, as many had suspected, and that he intended to help Republicans regain their majorities in Congress over the next few years. He has committed to battling many of the fake conservatives in Congress, like Sen. Lisa Murkowski from Alaska, and I am sure Sen. Mitt Romney is soon to follow.
This has not stopped the mainstream media from running with the narrative that President Trump is attempting a takeover of the Republican party, but calling it a “hostile” takeover of the party to those who are not loyal to him. Vox ran an article on Tuesday that argued just that, attempting to “explain” a Trump “feud” with the GOP. The mainstream media and all of the pundits alike are missing the entire point of the Trump movement, just as they always have.
Donald Trump, unlike the left-wing radicals, realizes that the RINOs that are part of the party makeup is the big issue. Those who claim that they are Republican, but do not support conservative values and ideals, nor do they represent the people across this country. Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney are prime examples of those who claim that they are Republican but fail to live up to the typical expectation of a Republican.
This is not to say that all Republicans must be alike and always agree with Trump. I do not believe that is what Trump is going for at all. Many will disagree with that statement but let me explain. Take the example of Sen. Lindsey Graham. Graham has not hidden the fact that he has disagreed with President Trump in the past. He backed off the election challenge after the Capitol riots. He also disagreed with Trump about Dr. Anthony Fauci in the past as well.
What you do not see is President Trump going after Lindsey Graham because Trump recognizes that Graham is far from a RINO. Graham truly has the interest of the country at heart, but he does have different opinions and ideas. So we cannot argue that Trump is looking for 100% allegiance as he goes across the country in this “takeover” of the GOP.
So if he is not looking for the allegiance, what is he looking for? President Trump is looking for people to be in Congress that will be movers and shakers, so to speak. He wants people in Congress that are willing to fight for American freedom and exceptionalism. Sure, you can argue that my use of the word fight could be inciting violence, but at this point, we need to fight for our country before the Democrats destroy it.
Trump recognizes that in 2-4 years, Democrats will have dramatically changed our country. He recognizes that amid that dramatic shift, there is going to be a huge opportunity for Republicans. That opportunity has no space for RINOs who are only in Congress for a career and popularity. It has no space for those like Adam Kinzinger, Mitch McConnell, and more. Perhaps Mitch McConnell sees it too since he seems to be working on a way to leave office soon.
This is why Trump is pushing for those millions of Americans that trust him, but not the Republicans who refuse to fight for America, to give their money to his super PAC. The mainstream media wants to make a big deal out of Trump, saying that Trump is funneling money to himself versus the Republican committees.
He didn’t start his own party, which is complicated to do and be competitive, but Trump is trying to set himself up as the place where money for Republicans should go as opposed to GOP committees pic.twitter.com/IPaiXTaIEy

This is not a move to get rich by Donald Trump. After all, the man really doesn’t need the money, but he realizes how powerful the money is. He realizes that these RINOs rely on the GOP committees for money, and if he can transition that money over to his super PAC, he then has the power over them. This is not a hostile takeover, this is a strategic takeover.
Trump is taking the risk that Americans who trust him will follow him with their time, money, and support. If you look at the recent polls among conservatives, Trump looks to be on the winning side. The CPAC event clearly shows that Trump is the front-runner for the entire party and is in control. How can it be a hostile takeover if he is in control?
Donald Trump is working hard to make sure that the GOP and Congress focus once again on the American people. He listened to what the people wanted, unlike those in Congress who vote based on their donors and reelection chances. This entire sequence of events is not about Trump himself. This is not a takeover of the GOP, this is a RINO extermination mission.
