Charlotte, NC — Black Lives Matter, Inc. is a racist entity that has existed since Obama was president and insurrectionists were setting fire to Baltimore. Its impact on the country, however, has been unwantingly felt the past 9 to 10 months. George Floyd’s death was one of the biggest fundraising times for BLM as hundreds of millions of dollars poured into the national organization’s accounts. It still isn’t known where BLM, Inc.’s headquarters are located. What began as a hashtag in response to the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin, BLM amassed more than $90 million last year.
This self-proclaimed win for social justice should prompt every black American to seriously analyze whether this racist and Marxist organization has done anything but make their lives worse.
For instance, as local chapters were left out to dry, the national founder purchased a new $1.4 million dollar home in Topanga Canyon, California. This exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood where approximately 88 percent of the residents are white. After the sale of the property was made public, critics took to social media to blast Khan-Cullors.

Doesn’t that say something about these activists and how seriously they take their own movement? Lucrative book deals, expensive homes, professorships at prestigious universities, and media appearances are just some of the ‘opportunities’ activism for Black people has afforded some. Meanwhile, the Black community at large, specifically in Democrat-led cities, is suffering. Things are not getting better for them, and the data proves it. Notice that murder and overall crime rates have skyrocketed in America’s major cities since BLM started pushing the “defund the police” mantra.
Sadly, this has done zilch for the Black community in many of the country’s poorest neighborhoods. In fact, “Opportunity Zones” created under the Trump administration have done more to help black Americans than BLM could put into motion. The creation of these opportunity zones have made it easier for investors to take advantage of tax breaks; however, the policies have been aimed at putting people into job creating programs in an effort to get the poorest Americans out of entitlement programs and into self-sufficiency.
Minneapolis, MN is an extraordinarily relevant example where clips of insurrection and looting took place thereafter the shooting of Daunte Wright. What happened in this situation is terribly sad. Further, it appears to have been an accident. As a result, BLM, Inc. immediately organized ‘protests’ that devolved into insurrectionist violence and destruction before a single fact was learned. The only questions that needed to be asked were what is the color of the person shot and what’s the ethnicity of the finger that pulled the trigger?
Race had nothing to do with this incident. So what exactly is the point? How is this benefiting the Black community in that area? As a result of last summer and the past 48 hours, Minneapolis has seen a 250 percent rise in gunshot victims.
"Minneapolis is the epicentre of the defund movement—In the first three weeks of 2021, Minneapolis saw a 250 percent increase in gunshot wound victims from the same time last year." https://t.co/ux5kk6QC4T

As Black neighborhoods and black owned businesses burn, BLM, Inc. activists gain national praise and adoration. Additionally, Black people continue to be murdered in higher numbers. So, please, how exactly is this helping black Americans?! It’s appalling. The very people who should be invested in helping the Black community are solely responsible for its current demise.
More and more, woke corporations are paying off BLM, Inc. activists as the Left cheers. At the same time, these corporations leave predominantly black areas due to the uncertainty and ever increasing crime rates. This is textbook virtue-signaling where an elite group gets to pat themselves on the back while ‘normal’ people gain nothing. Instead, they pay the price.
Meanwhile, woke corporations pay off undeserving BLM activists to the cheers of the Left while those same corporations leave predominantly black areas due to the uncertainty and high crime rates. It’s classic virtue-signaling, where an elite group gets to pat themselves on the back while normal people gain absolutely nothing, and in fact, pay the price. It’s truly a testament to just how cynical our politics have become.
Lastly, due to all the harm caused by the BLM movement’s rush to demonize police, specifically leading to skyrocketing crime rates, the economic situation in our inner cities has become increasingly dire. This is has become a distinct difference compared to just a few years ago when black unemployment rates hit record lows. Further, wage growth for black Americans also hit record highs not seen in literally decades.
As people continue to loot and burn down businesses, said businesses don’t usually come back. Naturally, this decimates future investment opportunities. All of this creates an economic sucking wound that simply can’t be packed.
All of this begs the following question: Exactly what has the BLM, Inc. movement brought about and how has that helped black Americans and their communities?
All I can see is harm. It’s perfectly reasonable to have complaints about policing in America. But if an organization isn’t helping the situation but making it worse, then people should seriously ask whether it should exist at all. Ultimately, BLM, Inc. has made things worse in this country and it’s time to wake up and have a reckoning with them and these facts.
There’s way too much grifting going on and not near enough results. These communities deserve better. They deserve opportunities rather than being exploited and conned.
