Charlotte, NC — It is well known that people often turn on each other; in troubling times, saving one’s skin is a top priority. In light of the New York Attorney General Letitia James’ damning report of Andrew Cuomo’s harassment of at least 11 women, Democratic politicians, including President Biden, Senate Majority Leader Schumer, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have now called for the immediate resignation of the Empire State governor.
What a Change of Events
Last year, Andrew Cuomo was on the top of his liberal “A-game,” with his hours-long daily briefings held before his liberal puppets within the mass media, defending his robust actions during his state’s COVID-19 lockdowns. On MSNBC, his brother and cheerleader, Chris Cuomo, championed his sibling, often inviting him on the air for even more facetime before the American people.
From coast-to-coast, politicians and pundits alike backed Gov. Cuomo, believed his bolstering actions and grandstanding. He was liked so much that in 2020, many pondered and pushed for Gov. Cuomo to seek the Office of the Presidency, challenging Joe Biden. And then, the tides for the once-beloved Cuomo. As he grabbed backsides and kissed women inappropriately, people were dying by the hundreds and thousands across New York’s nursing homes.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration has been accused of deliberately obscuring the full scope of nursing home deaths in New York. The F.B.I. is investigating. As the pressure mounted on his brother in May, Chris Cuomo admitted having had “inappropriate” strategy talks with his brother and vowed to steer clear of the network’s coverage of the governor. So much for brotherly love.
In today’s liberal snake pit, Democrats are more concerned with power as much and more than they speak of unity. Of course are exceptions, especially if your last name is Clinton. But overall, today’s liberals only need their colleagues when the party benefits; no matter what actions occur, if the party gains something, all Democrats are on on-board. But, if your benefit ever outweighs your use to the liberal masses, you are quickly booted from the “inner circle.”
As a Democrat politician, you can lie, cheat, and engage in unethical and perverted behavior as long as the party benefits. If it doesn’t occur, look out — Democrats will eat their own and use the same political parlor tricks used against Republicans against you.
How Republicans Can Benefit from This Behavior
With Democrats controlling the White House and Capitol Hill, Republicans are very limited on actions and implementing legislation and policy to prevent our country’s continued demise and financial raping. However, over the last several months, we have seen Democrats turn on their own like never before, and it goes much deeper than Cuomo.
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York has called Representative and Chair of the House Services Committee Maxine Waters a racist. Members of the left in Washington and abroad have also attacked Sen. Joe Manchin III (D.-W.Va.), labeling him as a “weak Democrat.”
For Republicans, this is great, and as a party looking to regain control in 2022, conservatives should allow and even endorse inner-party fighting among members of the Democratic Party. Republican President Abraham Lincoln perfectly stated, “A house divided against itself cannot stand,” in his famous speech delivered on June 16, 1858.
While it may be curtains for Andrew Cuomo’s administration, Republicans need to rely on liberal backstabbing of the past to sure up efforts to regain power in next year’s midterm elections. Until then, they need to keep their noses clean and their hands to themselves. Democrats have and will continue to implode from within; conservatives need to maintain calm and legitimacy and allow for the Democratic Dog eat.
