WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden and the Department of Labor are teaming up to force vaccinations on Americans. The measures will cover two-thirds of all Americans and are set to be announced by the President in a 5 p.m. speech.
According to Reuters, the Biden plan will force any business with over 100 employees to mandate vaccinations or perform weekly testing. Biden will also announce measures to mandate vaccinations for all federal employees and healthcare workers at hospitals and other institutions that participate in Medicare and Medicaid social programs for poor, disabled and older Americans.
According to estimates, this will cover over 100 million workers in total, or two-thirds of all workers in the United States.
Biden will also announce an increase in testing production, with Biden activating the Defense Production Act to allow for producing more tests. Retailers will sell these tests at cost according to Reuters for several months to help make them more affordable.
The move is the latest by the Biden regime to force vaccinations and compliance on Americans across the country. Currently, around half the US population is fully vaccinated. Many have resisted the vaccines due to their recent development and lack of data to prove their safety.
The CDC, FDA, and Biden administration argue that the vaccines are safe, despite multiple concerns. Many on the conservative side of the aisle argue that it is an American’s right to choose whether they want to take the vaccine or not, saying that a mandate is government overreach.
While federal unions have suggested they will accept the vaccine mandate, others may not. Lawsuits to combat the mandate are expected and could be announced as soon as Friday.
