Joe Biden’s administration is showing its true colors. It is built on poor leadership, bad decisions, more regulations, big spending, and, of course, higher taxes. Joe Biden assured America that the Middle Class would not pay more taxes, but we are all paying more with government-created inflation of 6%.
Inflation, Mr. President, impacts the lower-income groups the most. You say you are protecting them, but quite the contrary, you are emptying their wallets. There is no sign of improvement as Biden’s decisions are consistent with no concern for their ramifications as inflation is at a thirty-year high.
Energy costs are the most significant contributor to the inflation number, and it will get worse. As cost at the pump is up over 40%, Biden is not correcting any of the decisions that took us out of energy independence. Instead of being an energy exporter under Trump, Biden is begging OPEC to increase production. They have declined.
He is also considering closing another pipeline cutting off another 500,000 barrels a day of crude. Natural gas and propane are also up over 30%, meaning a more expensive and colder winter for Americans. Again, lower-income people will be hurt the most.
When asked what the President can do about the high energy costs, Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre (another Biden staffer over her head) said he is considering options and has many tools in his bag. A meaningless statement with no specifics. Biden is doing precisely what he intends. He is forcing the country to green alternatives but forgot to have the alternatives already in place.
I am looking forward to the solar panels mounted on Air Force One. That is sarcastic, but green is just for the common folk. The President had an 85 car motorcade of gas-guzzling SUVs at a Climate Summit! How more tone-deaf can this man get. And keep in mind that those cars had to be flown to Europe and back.
The best move for Biden and his team is to get out of the way. Get into their respective basements and get out of the way. Stop making bad decisions or any decision, period. You have done enough damage. Let the free market and capitalism take the controls and get us out of this mess. I listened to Biden yesterday say he is working on lowering costs on food and goods and getting the shelves filled. He does not understand the role of government. He has no control over either of those functions unless he can reduce regulations and taxes. He will not do either.
Aside from his age and poor cognitive abilities, Joe Biden is a weak leader surrounded by incompetent support giving him bad advice. As bad as this team is, not a single person has been fired or asked to step down. That is further proof that Biden is doing what we all fear. He is transforming America by tearing it down from the inside out. That appears to be a job he can handle.
