Orlando, FL — Officials in Orange County, Florida announced that comedian Bob Saget, best known for his role in the TV shows Full House and America’s Funniest Home Videos, passed away at his hotel on Sunday.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office released a statement at 6:46 p.m.:
“Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”
The news shocked Saget’s family and friends. Co-stars and others reacted to the news on Twitter.
Saget, who was 65, appeared to be in good health having done a two-hour standup show on Saturday night.
Early Sunday morning, at 2:42 a.m., Saget made a post about the show at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and wrote: “I had no idea I did a 2 hr set tonight. I’m happily addicted to this sh**.”
Saget’s family released a statement: “He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter. Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
What has escaped most of the mainstream media coverage was Saget’s “vaccination” status. Saget had submitted to the original jab regime, either two Moderna or Pfizer shots or one Johnson & Johnson, and took the booster shot on Dec. 11, according to The Covid World.
Saget, who hosted his own podcast, had stated in a Dec. 13th podcast: “Yeah, well, be careful out there and do whatever you got to do to be safe. And I’m not even going to preach. I try not to preach. I got my booster shot. I’m 65. So, I got it yesterday, or the day before, and I was hurting.”
As a comedian, Saget had joked in a Nov. 28 Tweet: “I went to the dumbest pharmacist yesterday and asked for my booster and he gave me a child’s seat. I was pissed until I sat at the table and was a foot taller.”
In the Dec. 13 podcast, according to The COVID Blog, Saget also joked about the booster: “I went to the pharmacy the other day and got a booster shot. I should have gotten it in my arm, but I got it in my butt.”
The COVID Blog also noted Tweets from Saget dating back to February of 2020, just months after the experimental jabs were authorized for emergency usage, promoting the shots.
Saget leaves behind three children and his wife Kelly Rizzo.
