WASHINGTON — On Thursday, the Supreme Court delivered its ruling on the Joe Biden employer COVID vaccine mandate. Justice Gorsuch wrote in his opinion, “Congress has nowhere clearly assigned so much power to OSHA” referring to the ability to force Americans to take the COVID vaccine or undergo testing.
He continued in reference to the multiple pieces of legislation passed by Congress to address COVID, “Congress has chosen not to afford OSHA — or any federal agency — the authority to issue a vaccine mandate.”
In the dissenting opinion, the liberal justices of the court said that the majority misapplied the law in regards to the mandate. They said that COVID was a hazard to employees and that COVID vaccines protect them from that hazard. It is the same lie that they told throughout the questioning as well.
They tried to again relate the COVID vaccine to workplace safety regulations, such as for fire, electrical, and emergency exits. There is a significant difference between a vaccine that enters a human body and a door used as an exit from a building.
The ruling is big in regards to the vaccines and the ability of Americans to choose. It won’t be the last attempt by Biden to force Americans to be vaccinated. Healthcare workers lost in the case to prevent the mandate on healthcare workers. No doubt the Biden regime is already working on its next scheme to force vaccination.
The ruling is also big in regards to the protection of freedom for Americans. It should be a person’s choice if they want to take the COVID vaccine or not given the science, data, and lack thereof of the safety of the vaccine in the long term.
While both of those are huge wins for Americans, the ruling is just the first punch in the final blow to President Biden being able to accomplish anything during his presidency.
The second punch was delivered by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) who confirmed she will not back down on the filibuster. She intends to continue to support it and push for Congress to work as it is supposed to. That angered many on the left.
The inability to eliminate the filibuster makes Biden a lame-duck President just one year into his term. Aside from issuing his decrees, he will not have the ability to do accomplish any of his desired radical legislation. Even if he tries to issue the executive orders, the Supreme Court could still stand in his way.
That is certainly no guarantee as Kavanaugh and Roberts both joined the liberal justices in the CMS ruling from Thursday. It should be enough to give Biden pause before he starts signing his presidency away, however.
That is not going to satisfy the radicals, however. They are already calling on drastic action from the left. They want to get rid of Biden and they want to eliminate what they see as a failure.
The White House is speechless amid their defeats and failures. Some are calling for Biden to resign saying he is weak. Others are calling for Harris to resign, to give the radical left someone behind Biden to help be more outspoken and help push the agenda.
In the coming weeks, look for Biden to attempt and decree small wins for himself and the party. One report is that he is already readying an executive order on police reform. Look for him to find other small wins that will make the radical wing happy while also holding off the talks of failure and replacement.
There are 34 Senate races up for grabs in November with 11 rates as tossups or potential flips. Six of those are Republican-held seats. Democrats are hopeful that they can hold their seats while flipping a seat or two away from Republicans. That could give Biden hope in the Senate.
Thankfully things look bleak for the Democrats starting into election season. Hence the reason that Biden will start issuing his decrees. He needs the wins if they are going to have any hope in November.
I just do not see it that way. I do not see any way Democrats control the House and Senate in November after Thursday’s 1-2 knockout punch from Sinema and the Supreme Court.
