“The liberal media, they’re not touching this. If it was the other way around, if Russians were doing this to Ukrainians, they would have absolutely spoken about it…. If the roles were reversed, we’d never hear the end of it. We’d never hear the end of it,” said journalist Richard Medhurst, referring to a video showing war crimes committed by Ukrainian soldiers against Russian prisoners of war (POW).
The video shows Russian POWs, who are tied up, being taken out of a van and tortured by Ukrainian forces who are seen beating the POWs and shooting them in their kneecaps and groins.
Such atrocities are probably not unexpected when Ukraine is in bed with Nazis, but the Western media is doing everything it can to ignore it. Even when a journalist asks the question, the news outlet deletes it.
Enter Fox News as Brett Baier asked Ukrainian oligarch Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the Nazi Azov Battalion, whom Zelenskyy admits is a “component of the Ukrainian military.”
But alas, Fox News removed that from the rebroadcast and has not uploaded it to its social media as The Last Refuge reported that “if someone had not uploaded a livestream copy to Rumble… there would be no other evidence the question was even asked, let alone the very flippant answer from Zelenskyy, ‘They are what they are’; where ‘they’ is the neo-Nazi Azov battalion that have been merged with the Ukraine regular military.”
The Sons of Liberty reported on various videos, including the POW video, and there are Ukrainians in destroyed cities providing first-hand accounts at the brutality of Azov which has targeted Ukrainians, one woman saying: “They executed the people…. They shot them up, entire busses.”
The mainstream propaganda media refuses to show the images of brutality at the hands of Ukrainian, but is quick to report any alleged atrocity by Russia which often turn out to be untrue.
A video emerged in early March that has been ignored by the media which allegedly showed Ukrainian soldiers gunning down civilians at checkpoints for trying to flee war torn regions.
Hal Turner described the video: “The shocking and grotesque video from a motorist who came upon the scene in his own car, and presumably recorded via his cell phone camera, shows him getting out of his car and walking up to the dead bodies on the road, outside of passenger vehicles, shot multiple times; in the head and in the torso…. As the man and another passenger from his car who is apparently a female, though never seen on the video, examine the scene, machine gun fire erupts repeatedly. The man runs back to his car. More machine gun fire erupts and the sounds of breaking car glass are heard, before the video stops.”
That video is at Tap Newswire, but fair warning, it is graphic. Another video is available there showing and American veteran discussing the conflict as he rightly says: “All these people, for the last two years, that have been screaming the mainstream media is nothing but a bunch of liars. Y’all are regurgitating their talking points now. So, now, magically the news is telling the truth?”
In contrast to what the mainstream media is pushing, many Ukrainians are thanking Russia’s military.
In the southeastern Ukrainian city of Mariupol, refugees have been forced to basements and reported seeing Ukrainian soldiers shooting minors. One woman described Ukraine’s military as brutal, but said of Russia: “The Russian guys helped us out of the basement. Look, they’re like our brothers.”
“Once again I want to tell you so that you understand: the evacuation of all Mariupol, of all the people they have been bringing here during the week, it is the Russian soldiers who are bringing people out of the cellars. They help us, they feed the starving children, they give them their rations, do you understand? They bring the children out in their arms.”
“The remaining Ukrainian military just play and shoot at small children. We saw them with our own eyes. They must show this to the world. It is not true that Ukraine is just a beautiful country. You must show the whole world that Russian troops evacuated all the people. Not a single Ukrainian military went to get us out of the cellars. The city is full of corpses. Hands and feet wrapped in rags, lying everywhere.”
Some Ukrainians are blaming the Western interventionists, including America, for the ongoing conflict, and they have good reason to say that.
Tyler Durden reported for Zero Hedge that the United Nations has opened war crime tribunals against Russia, but the “Kremlin has meanwhile complained that the West has by and large completely overlooked crimes against pro-Russian civilians in the Donbas region going back to 2014. Russia has also alleged during the current military ‘special operation’ that Ukrainian civilians deemed ‘Russia sympathizers’ have in some instances been tortured and even killed, especially by groups like the neo-Nazi Azov battalion.”
So, who is committing the war crimes?
