Rebel News, a Canadian independent news organization, got the papers through Freedom of Information Act requests. They are high-level briefing notes sent to Chrystia Freeland, the then-Minister of Foreign Affairs and head of Global Affairs Canada. The briefing materials were written in advance of the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset conference on December 8, 2020.
Freeland, along with government officials from c, was a co-chair of one of the WEF sessions, according to other records. Other sessions were co-chaired by Kent Walker, Google’s senior vice president of global affairs, and Dina Powell McCormick, a partner at Goldman Sachs.
The fact that Freeland is a co-chair for numerous WEF meetings implies that Canada has either already embraced or is on its way to completely adopting many of the WEF’s aims.

One of the key goals of the WEF’s Great Reset summit was to reportedly form global alliances with governments and big corporations to help the COVID-19 pandemic recover quickly.
“Strengthen global collaboration; re-globalize equitably; rebuild sustainably; develop public-private partnerships; raise global resilience; promote peace and security; and promote gender equality,” said the world leaders at the WEF gathering.

Freeland was given the duty of co-chairing a meeting to talk about how to “strengthen global collaboration.” One of Freeland’s goals for the meeting, according to her notes, was to reaffirm Canada’s “commitment to effective and accountable multilateralism, including as a critical component of our joint efforts to address COVID-19.”
This means she desired to form global connections in order to achieve a common aim. This is supposed to imply dealing with the COVID-19 epidemic. However, as Freeland points out, Canada can only do so by adopting WEF principles, particularly the 2030 Agenda.
“Canada views the 2030 Agenda as a comprehensive framework for responding to and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, and building more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable societies that can help to prevent and better withstand future crises and shocks,” wrote Freeland.
The United Nations’ “sustainable development plan” is the 2030 Agenda. By 2030, at least 17 overarching Sustainable Development Goals, as well as 169 sub-targets, must be met. The World Economic Forum has fully embraced this agenda as part of its Great Reset ambitions.
If the aims of the 2030 Agenda are met, Canada’s society will be completely restructured to align with the goals of the World Economic Forum.
