This is how it should be. These globalist commie politicians should be booed wherever they go. But I will say, this was a curious boo for Pelosi. This should be her “home turf,” and I would have thought she’d have been cheered not jeered. It happened at a music/climate change festival in New York City. Pelosi took the stage, and she got booed. I guess the militant climate crowd doesn’t think she’s doing enough to “save the planet” from blowing up in 8 years.
Or is it 10 years? It’s hard to keep track, this has been going on since the 60s.
Breitbart reported that the welcome was anything but warm for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Saturday night as she was booed on stage at the Global Citizen Festival after being introduced by Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Pelosi, 82, was attending the gathering in New York’s Central Park with husband Paul when Chopra Jonas invited her to appear before the crowd of music devotees.
The result was underwhelming for them both.
As Pelosi set out plans heading for Congress to tackle climate issues, members of the audience could be heard booing the veteran Democrat even as she expounded on carbon pollution and “climate change.”
“It’s thanks to your help that the United States recently enacted historic climate legislation, which will be a game changer,” Pelosi said as the jeers carried on, the New York Post reports.
“It will slash carbon pollution by 40 percent by 2030, it will give a historic, an historic $370 billion to fight the climate crisis.”
As the audience grew even more loud in its response, several hecklers are heard yelling “let’s go!” apparently looking for the evening’s entertainment to resume without a politician taking center stage.

I guess the crowd didn’t want to hear a sagging old lady, slur her pre-written statement. Speaking of slurring, Pelosi also brought her drunk-driving husband with her. I hope they took a cab to the event.

The Post report added Pelosi tried to continue her speech, saying the bill would result in “better water and air for our children” as well as “better-paying jobs and lower energy bills for their parents.”
The California representative can also be heard calling for “better water and air for our children” and “better-paying jobs and lower energy bills for their parents.”
Mariah Carey, Metallica, The Jonas Brothers and Usher performed at the festival.
You gotta wonder how much damage something like this did to the planet. Wouldn’t it have been better to hold this “party” on zoom, to make sure everyone’s carbon footprint was nice and small? It’s gotta cost a lot of money to bring in all those big-ego millionaire performers, right?
Well, it turns out that the richest people among us are the ones who emit the most carbon.
British charity Oxfam released a study that found the richest 10 percent of people produce half of the planet’s individual-consumption-based fossil fuel emissions, while the poorest 50 percent — about 3.5 billion people — contribute only 10 percent. Yet those same 3.5 billion people are “living overwhelmingly in the countries most vulnerable to climate change,” according to the report. According to the data used by the report, individual consumption — as opposed to consumption by governments and international transport — makes up 64 percent of worldwide climate emissions.
Oxfam estimates that the world’s richest 10 percent of people have carbon footprints that are 60 times higher as the poorest 10 percent. Any estimation that generalizes large populations is difficult to make, but researchers at Oxfam also estimate that the emissions of the world’s richest 1 percent create an even larger emissions gap: the 1 percent could emit 30 times more than the poorest 50 percent and 175 times more than the poorest 10 percent.
Hey, maybe instead of attacking the working class for BBQing on the weekend, we should be going after filthy rich liberals for ruining the planet?
