There is no way, these two sabotaging bums, McConnell and McCarthy should be anywhere near a leadership position in this party. They both did their darndest to make sure MAGA candidates did not win in the midterms, including sabotage and denying them money. It’s disgusting, and if we allow these two traitors to be in leadership, then we deserve everything we’re gonna get. And trust me, Joe Biden knows this, and that’s why he’s not the least bit scared about the GOP taking over the House. Not one bit. He knows who his friends are.
But calls are growing louder to oust them both. Marco Rubio and a handful of other senators have already asked to delay any votes for the leader of the Senate, whether it be minority or leader. Mitch probably thinks he was a shoo-in, and he’s probably right since the Senate is filled with some of the weakest Republicans around. But if we put enough pressure on them, they will cave. The question is, will we do it? Will we force them to elect somebody else?
I liked Marco’s tweet the best. It was very strong.
Here’s what Marco said: “The Senate GOP leadership vote next week should be postponed First we need to make sure that those who want to lead us are genuinely committed to fighting for the priorities & values of the working Americans (of every background) who gave us big wins in states like #Florida“

And this from Ted: “It makes no sense for Senate to have leadership elections before GA runoff. We don’t yet know whether we’ll have a majority & Herschel Walker deserves a say in our leadership. Critically, we need to hear a specific plan for the next 2 yrs from any candidate for leadership.”

And then there’s McCarthy. The cries to stop him are getting louder too, and that’s actually working.
Western Journal reported that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy made it clear. The California congressman wants to be elevated to speaker of the House if the Republicans get majority control of the U.S House of Representatives once the 2022 midterm elections are finalized.
It could be goodbye, Nancy Pelosi.
However, McCarthy should not be measuring the drapes for his new office just yet.
The final outcomes of many House races were still pending on Friday morning, although Republicans seem on track to get more than the 218 members needed for a majority. But as far as the speakership goes, not everyone shares McCarthy’s opinion that McCarthy is the guy for the job.
Politico Playbook reported Thursday that McCarthy’s support issues is a case of déjà vu. Speaker John Boehner retired in 2015. McCarthy wanted the position then but saw his plans derailed by the House Freedom Caucus.
In the years since, McCarthy has tried to ingratiate himself with more conservative House members, such as Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, but doubts about his leadership remain.
“We know there are a number of members who feel as we do, that Kevin McCarthy has not earned the right to lead, has not earned our vote,” Virginia Rep. Bob Good, a member of the Freedom Caucus, told Politico.
Speaking Monday on Fox News, Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, addressed the question of electing McCarthy as speaker.
“I would say maybe not so fast,” Biggs said. “Maybe we should have a good discussion within the confines of our internal body.”

Russ Vought, president of the Center For Renewing America had this to say about McCarthy’s troubles in a Twitter thread and it looks like the main reason Kevin’s in trouble, is because that vote is public, so we’ll all know who voted for and against him.
Ouch.
Kevin McCarthy is in serious trouble as a candidate for Speaker. Let me explain.
It starts with the fundamentals. The vote for Speaker is not behind closed doors. It is on the floor of the House of Representatives. There is no lying back home about how one voted. And all Dems vote against the GOP nominee, always. 2x
House conservatives will not need a majority to prevail. They merely need to block & veto until they get an acceptable candidate. Exactly how many depends on the final slim majority, but it will not be a lot. 3/x
Conservatives will have a difficult (I would say impossible) time explaining a vote for McCarthy back home for many reasons, but mainly for being a peace-time leader when we are in a cold civil war who will manage the GOP away from conflict instead of seizing it by the throat 4/x
In other words, the fundamentals present a cartel-busting vote, and all you need is a few members to go public. We already have that in @mattgaetz @bobgood @chiproytx. That number will grow as members come off the trail. The trend lines are already in our direction. 5/x
Today is for thanking those already gone public. Build the numbers of members who want change & publicly say they are against McCarthy today. Talk of the replacement candidate comes next & at the moment, thwarts the momentum needed to build the fight 6/6
“The hour is late. We’re losing our country. We have a woke and weaponized government.
We need to go at them with everything we got and with every tool we have.
Someone like @Jim_Jordan [as Speaker] understands that.”

We cannot allow that turncoat to be Speaker or minority leader. I don’t care what happens, this is the hill we all need to die on, and then we need to die on the McConnell hill, next.
If we don’t get rid of these two, and that RNC blowhard, Ronna McDaniel, we will get nothing done, and we won’t win with any MAGA candidates in the future.
