What a brutal week for President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party. A special counsel appointed by Biden’s own administration concluded that the president, 81, was too old and incompetent to stand trial for mishandling classified information. The bombshell report from Special Counsel Robert Hur described Biden as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” who struggled to remember basic facts about his life.
Biden attempted to reassure the American people during a hastily scheduled press conference. He insisted his memory was fine, then proceeded to mix up Egypt and Mexico while answering a question about Hamas, the terrorist group whose name he couldn’t remember earlier this week. That was merely one of the several dozen gaffes and incomprehensible statements Biden made over the past few days.
Among other things, Biden described conversations he had with dead Europeans, said he “make[s] no apologize” for criticizing the Supreme Court decision to overturn “Roe v. Word,” and promised to respect the rights of all Americans “whether you live in a red state or a green state.” It’s going to be a long campaign.
Have a great weekend!
