Charlotte, N.C. – Democrats are diligently preparing for a possible Biden administration, urging him to return to a deal with Iran that will leave Israel defenseless against a dangerous regime hellbent on acquiring nuclear weapons.
During the 1930s and 40s, America and most of the Western world turned a blind eye to the Nazi atrocities against the Jewish faith during World War II. Despite some historical accounts, America’s entry into WWII was not due to Hitler’s murderous campaign and ethnic cleansing. Instead, it was the Nazi Regime’s global conquest and its attack against the United State’s allies that rallied President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s support to urge Congress to issue a formal Declaration of War against Germany and Fascist Italy.
Even more, had Imperial Japan did not attack the United States Naval Fleet at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, America, led by Roosevelt, may not have ever entered the war at all, for most of the country preferred global isolationism after the destruction caused by World War I.
After the war, the State of Israel was founded on May 14, 1948. Since then, the United States and its many presidential administration have assisted Israel, domestically and intentionally, from outside interference and military aggression from its Islamic neighbors. One such neighbor publically calls for the death and destruction of the Jewish people in Iran.
On November 24, 2013, President Obama led the signing of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, known as the Iran Deal, that paid over $1.7-billion to the radical regime to promise not to attempt to acquire or build nuclear weapons. Shortly after the signing, multiple global reports and independent reviews detailed the county’s continued pursuit of a nuclear arsenal to use against Israel and its allies in the Middle East region.
After taking office, President Trump quickly decertified and nullified the agreement, citing that the United States never has and will negotiate or pay terrorist organizations. Democrats across the United States and in the halls of Congress publically attacked Trump on his actions, but now, with Biden looking to assume the presidency, they call for a return to the Iran Deal.
On December 24, a letter backing President-elect Joe Biden’s plan to reenter the Iran nuclear deal without any new conditions has garnered 150 signatures from House Democrats — enough to block any congressional bid to block the move.
The letter’s sentiments are in direct contradiction to the urgings of the Israel lobby group AIPAC, others in the center-right pro-Israel community, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The letter surpasses 146 names. The number needed to break the two-thirds majority that opponents of reentering the deal would need to override Biden’s veto of any legislation aimed at blocking reentry.
For the last four years, led by Islamic, radical, House Democrats like Rep. Ilhan Omar (M.N.), the Jewish faith is under attack and ignored by Americans. Omar has been censored by Congress for her past comments against members of the Jewish faith. Israel sits alone in the region against its Islamic neighbors. Under President Trump, Israel-U.S. relations were at their highest in history, with Trump overseeing peace agreements with the two Arab nations of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
Like in the years leading up to World War II, Democrats, under President Franklin D. Roosevelt, turned a blind eye to the murder of millions of Jews by the Nazis. Now, 75 years later, Democrats are refusing to listen to the hearts and minds of Jews, as they see their future and their existence threatened by a dangerous regime.
