Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, the federal government reached an agreement to contribute another $484 billion in aid for coronavirus relief. An additional $322 billion was provided for the Paycheck Protection Program, the funding that helps small businesses that had ran dry.
Also in the agreement was $60 billion in disaster relief loans, $75 billion for hospitals and $25 billion for testing according to sources. The bipartisan agreement was quickly praised by both sides after recent criticisms. Many were expressing frustration at the lack of a bill to address the loss of funding of the PPP. President Trump made his statements via Twitter.

Amid the recent criticisms was Nancy Pelosi. She was criticized for displaying her stash of gourmet ice cream amid the crisis. Both sides had been pointing fingers without much movement until Tuesday. The Senate expects to pass the measure on Tuesday while the House is planning to pass it on Thursday.
Discussions are underway for the next round of funding after reaching this agreement. There are multiple calls for additional cash payments to citizens as well as funding for state and local governments. Some calls have already put this expectation over $500 billion in value already.
