New York, NY – Polls from battleground states and a poll from Quinnipiac University, released Wednesday show former Vice President and presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden ahead of President Donald Trump in the 2020 race to the White House. However, one Fox News host has admitted that she doesn’t trust polls, not even from her own network.
On Thursday, Fox News host Melissa Francis announced that she has misled pollsters and talked about her own experience in deceiving pollsters.
Francis explained how she has “been polled twice recently”.
“Sometimes I’m somebody who voted for Mayor Bill de Blasio but is now thinking about Trump,” Francis stated. She explained that her answer depends on how she likes to “toy” with people.
Even after Justin Baragona, the Founder of Contemptor asked her on Twitter whether or not this meant that she trusted polls from her own network, Francis replied, “I don’t trust any polling at all based on my personal experience.”
Francis admitted that she has been polled more than 20 times in the past 5 years.
Francis’s admittance of misleading and toying with pollsters comes as the 2020 election is tightening, and people in battleground states are raising the idea of the Silent Majority and “Secret Trump Supporters”.
