The NY Times has revived the Justice Brett Kavanaugh situation for a sequel. Of course, after botching the story they had to release an edit late Sunday night that they omitted key information. They’ve continued to push the story on Monday however and it has all the liberals in an uproar.
The situation certainly has the making of a horrible movie sequel. Sometimes the main movies are better and should just be left alone. I can think of numerous cases and this is another where they should have left the situation alone. Of course liberals will continue to pursue Kavanaugh at all costs because they lost. Sounds eerily similar to their Trump playbook doesn’t it?
This gives us great insight into the Democratic playbook for the rest of 2019 and 2020. As we know they are investigating President Trump and his alleged affairs again, now they intend to revive the Kavanaugh accusations. You know you’ve really hit a new low when CNN says you screwed up an attack on a Republican.
Conservatives immediately went on the offensive at the accusations and indications that Democrats want to try to impeach Kavanaugh. Senator Ted Cruz said that there’s no one that the Democrats do not want to impeach, which seems true. Yet, The NY Times breaks a story after multiple news outlets reported recently that others were coerced into lying to support the Blasey-Ford accusations last year.
Democrats will not stop the offensive however. In essence, they are acting like a bunch of toddlers that will throw a tantrum until they get their way. Representative AOC, toddler in chief, immediately took to Twitter against Kavanaugh. She immediately called for Kavanaugh’s impeachment and that his accusations last year were credible. Yet, the FBI did their investigation and found nothing. Also, news came out that Blasey-Ford was lying. So that constitutes credible?
This was almost a year ago.
It is unsurprising that Kavanaugh, credibly accused of sexual assault, would lie under oath to secure a Supreme Court seat.
Because sexual assault isn’t a crime of passion – it’s about the abuse of power.
He must be impeached.pic.twitter.com/9PhrgeYuHv

Senator Cruz said it best, Democrats must realize the process that this went through and move on. Just like a toddler does not always get their way, Republicans and Democrats do not always get their way. There were many times in the Obama administration I was upset about what was being done. I voiced my opinion and realized that there needed to be elected change, enter President Trump.
Just because I do not like someone or what they do, does not mean they should be removed. AOC was being investigated earlier this year for campaign violations as well. Should she be impeached just simply because she was accused of a crime? While part of me wants to say yes, the answer is no. Innocent until proven guilty and if the evidence is not there, we have to move forward. Too bad AOC was not this excited to push out her friend Rep. Ilhan Omar after she was convicted of campaign finance violations.
In the end, Democrats have shown their playbook. While the Kavanaugh sequel may be a bit surprising, it’s most likely just the tip of the iceberg of the impeachment train we can expect in the coming months.
