Washington, DC — Over the weekend, scenes of millions of people around the world marching in the streets demanding their freedom from COVID-19 tyrants emerged.
The Worldwide Rally for Freedom was held on May 15. A previous rally also occurred on March 20 that also saw millions of people demanding freedom.
In a press release from organizers, it stated that people in over 40 countries “will march for Freedom, Peace, and Human Rights.”
“Lockdowns and border closures have taken lives to increased suicide rates, and destroyed Livelihoods, causing financial ruin,” the release states. “No population should ever again be subjected to Ubiquitous Public Incarceration. Excessive Coronavirus Restrictions measures must come to an end, and all state of emergency declarations enabling these measures must be repealed.”
The release goes on to support bodily autonomy over forced face masks, support for informed consent over forced vaccinations and authoritarian vaccine passports and support for free speech over the squashing of dissenting opinions.
“Authoritarian coronavirus restrictions have damaged our lives more than any virus has, and even if the effects of the virus were more damaging, the restrictions to our freedoms would still have been unjust and unlawful…. Our fundamental freedoms have top priority, and we cannot allow them to become constrained, for the sake of the generations that follow us…. We cannot allow our Human Rights to be repackaged as Human Privileges, to be conditioned upon compliance with Authoritarianism,” the release concludes.
A video from the May 15 rally showed scenes from various countries where there are at least tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of people at each and every one of them. Those countries include: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine.

I was listening to a radio interview over the weekend with someone attending a rally in London. The attendee told the crowd she was on the phone with America and the crowd’s response was a long and pronounced chant of “freedom, freedom, freedom….” The whole world is looking toward the American people, not the American government, to be leaders. Instead, these people rallying for freedom around the world are setting the example.
One of my earliest op-eds for the Liberty Loft was A Nation of Dependents. I wrote that “America is now the land of the entitled, home of the enslaved.” That still remains the same.
We’ve seen how cheap the American people are. Donald Trump bought us off for $1,200 and Joe Biden for $1,400.
Now, Biden says “get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do. The choice is yours.” And fascist corporations will give you your “freedom” if you submit to the medical experiment.
Following Biden’s unlawful edict of get vaxxed or stay masked, the “leadership” of the “opposition” party sat down with Sean Hannity. They acted like they were scoring political points by mocking Biden while showing they are no different from Biden. House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy said: “I believe in the vaccine. I’ve been vaccinated. I don’t need to wear the mask.” And the rest of the “leaders” and Hannity nodded in bovine agreement.
Other Republicans have begged Anthony Fauci to give us our freedom back thinking they’re doing something heroic by graveling.
The politicians and unelected bureaucrats don’t have the authority to do anything they’ve done to us over the last year-plus under the guise of protecting us from a virus. It is illegal and immoral.
Yet, the American people do nothing about it except maybe some whining. We’re too concerned with our own comfort. We’re preoccupied with petty politics. We don’t want to lose our jobs or lose some friends. We live in a selfish society more concerned with personal wealth than personal liberty.
The Founding Fathers of this once great nation signed the Declaration of Independence which stated: “We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honors.” They meant it. They were almost all extremely wealthy under British rule, but they didn’t care about wealth or comfort. They cared about liberty, and nearly all of them died broke but free from British chains.
As Patrick Henry said: “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”
This is likely not what anyone wants to hear, but it is what they need to hear. If we continue on the current trajectory where the American people are in some little back-and-forth struggle for political power fighting for the red team or blue team, there’s no hope for the future. But, if the American people decide to organize, hit the streets and go straight to the local, state and federal governments with numbers and a fight for liberty, not for politicians or political parties, then the best days could be ahead of us. The choice is ours.
