Charlotte, N.C. – According to a July 17 study published in the International Journal of Geriatrics and Rehabilitation, 50 percent of nucleic acid coronavirus tests distributed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided inaccurate results.
The study’s lead author, Sin Hang Lee, MD, director of Milford Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, found that the testing kits gave a 30 percent false-positive rate and a 20 percent false-negative rate.
To determine these false-positive and false-negative rates, the Connecticut State Department of Public Health Microbiology Laboratory provided Lee 20 tests, which were then re-tested using his methodology, which examines samples on a cellular level than just testing fluid with no cellular matter from potentially infected oral and nasal secretions.
According to a May 2020 study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, getting tested the day a person is infected with coronavirus will likely yield a 100 percent false-negative rate; by day eight after becoming infected; however, that rate drops to just 20 percent.
Since its arrival on U.S. shores, COVID-19 has become a topic of debate. Democrats have bashed President Trump on his “lack of response” to the viral pandemic from mask-wearing to supplies of medical equipment and testing.
First, masks were determined by the CDC to be ineffective. In fact, in February 2020, CDC officials and experts like Dr. Anthony Fauci advised Americans against wearing masks. These same experts are joining in the liberal attack against President Trump, citing that “now, they have the science correct to make calls on public health policy and issue advisements.”
The facts are thus. Are we to change our nation’s COVID-course on the merits of these scientists that have an unhealthy-habit of changing their minds?
