Charlotte, NC — Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) encourages protesters and rioters to remain in the streets unless Chauvin is convicted of murder in Minnesota. Chauvin is on trial in Minneapolis in the case of George Floyd. The Floyd protests led to riots across the country and destruction after his death last year.
Appearing in a video wearing a face mask and a face shield, Waters says that people should remain in the streets unless Chauvin is convicted of murder. She said that manslaughter was not enough and unless a guilty verdict was returned, justice was not being done. You can see the video below.

The high-profile case is set for a conclusion in the coming days. The mainstream media, Democrats, and racial-justice radicals have all convicted Chauvin in the case, just due to the fact he is a white officer and Floyd was a Black man. One expert witness confirmed that Floyd died of drugs in his system, not the “police brutality” as the rioters have claimed.
Legal experts are torn over what will happen in the case. They say that the defense did not put up a great fight for Chauvin and that his lack of testimony could be a problem. Even if found not guilty, the mainstream media and radical-left are already pushing a narrative that a lack of conviction is simply racism coming out and would be a step backward for race relations.
Waters was speaking about a bill in Congress that Democrats are pushing to help “address race relations” and “police brutality.” She says that the racists on the right would block the bill and keep it from passing. Yes, everyone that is on the right and opposes nonsense legislation is a racist now.
Now, if these comments had come from someone on the right, they would immediately be involved in an ethics investigation. Democrats would look at expelling them from Congress and putting them on trial in the mainstream media as a horrible person. Anyone else remember how they acted over Marjorie Taylor Greene?
But since this is a Democrat, the story will go largely unreported by mainstream media outlets. Maxine Waters is encouraging riots and violence. She is encouraging the destruction of businesses and homes. It’s time that the Democrats do something about the inherent racism and violence within their party.
