Charlotte, NC — For centuries, people all across the world have learned how to do math. From basic mathematical equations to complex word problems, math is a valuable tool in order to survive in society. Or at least it was anyway.
It was until it was announced that math is now a racist subject. Yes, knowing how to add 2 + 2 makes you a racist. That is according to a new group of educational experts who have released a guide to help make math more focused on “equality.” Multiple left-wing radical educators joined together to produce an 81-page guide on how to find racism in math and how to eliminate it.
Some of the thoughts are that math is inherently racist because it expects someone to abide by the rules of the subject and to achieve the correct answer. Yes, desiring someone to actually do something correctly is racist. Even having the expectation that someone should do the right thing and get the answer correct is racist. If you teach math or have learned math from anyone on the “unwoke” side, you are racist.
The 81-page guide is nothing short of critical race theory garbage that was produced in an effort to continue promoting the agenda of the Left. Some of the guidance includes thoughts that you should not be expecting the right answer, or even that a student show their work. You should simply be glad the student is there and, according to the guide, encourage them to embrace their mathematical ancestry.
John McWhorter gives some great insight into how math is racist. He shares how the document teaches that teaching precise problem solving is immoral. Teaching to achieve the right solution is racist. Math should not be so rigid and without flexibility. It really is all about someone just simply existing and trying.
It is true that the entire premise of the document is to promote critical race theory, the idea that racism exists in all parts of society and must be addressed. The only way to address these systemic failures of white supremacy and racism is to avoid holding people accountable, refusing to ask them to achieve the correct answer, and simply focusing on how we can help them feel better about their work in the area of math.
The Left can argue that mathematics will keep someone from achieving their full potential in society, but the failure to teach math is what will actually have that response. Math teaches people not only the basics of addition and subtraction, but also the intellectual ability to think freely in their mind and solve problems that are presented. That’s what we should be wanting to teach everyone, the ability to analyze a situation and determine the solution to the problem.
Instead, these woke teachers and the critical race theory want us to simply give them an answer. They argue that we should simply provide, without accountability and question, so that they can feel equal. This does not lead to a situation of equality, but a situation of dependence and stupidity.
If we continue down this path, we will be left with a portion of society that believes that everything should be given to them and a segment of society that is willing to receive things being given to them in order to be more equitable. Both segments of society would be prevented from ever achieving their full capabilities and will be forced into dependence on others to take care of them. That’s where your federal government steps in.
This is where the Democrats, the communists that they are, want Americans to be. They want Americans to lose their ability to be free thinkers, to find their own solutions, and to become dependent on the government for everything. They want to continue this critical race theory push so that they can continue to show that the elites of this country can “provide” for you. All the while, the elites remain in power.
As you sit with a small child and you start counting with them, remember, that you are teaching them racist traits according to this group. You are teaching them to “oppress” others around them according to the socialist elites. In reality, you are teaching them to survive. You are teaching them to learn, to think, and to solve their own problems without relying on someone else to do it for them.
What is more dangerous? A person who believes that everything should be given to them or a person who is willing to do everything in their power to be the best that they can be. For the communist Democrat, it’s the one that’s taught to think and fight for what they believe in.
