The Speaker of The House is arguably the most powerful position in the United States. Some would say that position holds even more power than President of the United States. Whatever the case may be, it’s a very important position. As we know, Pelosi wielded a lot of damage from her vulture perch, didn’t she? And now, it’s Kevin McCarthy’s turn. Kevin McCarthy secured the speakership after a really long, and truly amazing situation that unfolded in the House. It took him 15 rounds to get the gavel. I love that we stood up for ourselves and got what we wanted. Honestly, this was the best outcome. I know many of you out there are “NeverMcCarthy” and while I understand that, he’s a backstabbing swamp creature, we did not have the numbers to put any of “our guys” in the speaker seat. And apparently, Jim Jordan, who was really our only viable hope, was not going to budge and accept any nomination whatsoever.
But I don’t think we should count Trump out. I think he has wised up when it comes to “personnel choices,” which were never is strong suit, and is playing the political game with a renewed, even shrewder sense of purpose.
Because as of right now, it would appear that he has the man with the most powerful post in the U.S. wrapped around his finger, and owing him everything.
And I don’t think President Trump will let him forget that.
You gotta wonder, could the tides have finally turned, and Trump made a swamp creature his puppet?
God know, he could do more damage with McCarthy, than Obama can do with Bumbling Biden.

Now, I know it’s too early to celebrate, and we all know McCarthy is a snake, but let’s give Trump and the Freedom Caucus a fighting chance to make this work. What do we have to lose at this point? Right now, we basically have nothing. If this pans out, and we get stronger, and gain leadership, and we curb McCarthy’s Uniparty ways, it’ll be a massive win. And I think gambling on that type of victory is worth it.
