The White House has taken steps to protect the President and Vice President from exposure to coronavirus through screening measures. As efforts are made to protect them, concern was given to previous exposures relating to interactions at CPAC and with delegates from Brazil.
The NY Times was the first to report the negative test result. Information will continue to come out from the White House like this in an effort to calm fears from the general public. President Trump appeared in good spirits at the press conference earlier discussing US response to the virus.
