Well, Ford is now going all-in on the “green new deal,” and they’re hedging all their bets on electric cars. So much so, that they’ve laid off 2000 employees and 1000 contractors so they can begin the “transition” to electric. I think this is a monumental mistake and will come back to bite them hard. But this is what happens when corporations are “bailed out” by the government, right? That bill comes due, eventually. And right now, it’s time for the car companies to “pay up” and push Biden’s communist green lifestyle, even though we don’t have the infrastructure or any plan to make this work.
Here’s what NBC News reported ord Motor Co. is cutting about 3,000 white-collar jobs as it attempts to lower costs and make the transition from internal combustion to electric vehicles. Leaders of the Dearborn, Michigan, automaker made the announcement Monday in a companywide email, saying that 2,000 full-time salaried workers would be let go along with another 1,000 contract workers. The cuts represent about 6% of the 31,000 full-time salaried workforce in the U.S. and Canada

I live in Michigan, and I can tell you that this is the last thing we need. To lay off thousands of people while inflation is soaring and we head into a recession. I can’t imagine what these woke idiots at Ford are thinking.
This will not end well for them. I can feel it. This whole thing is going to end in a massive disaster.
Also, I know a lot of people are wondering how many folks in the Mexico plants are being “laid off” right now. Probably none. And that just feels so typical for a globalist middle-class killer like Joe Biden.
Just another reason to vote out Gretchen Whitmer.
