Although the first week of Jesse Watters’ ratings fell short of the total audience that Tucker Carlson attained during his seven years in prime time, they were higher than Fox News Tonight, the program that Carlson immediately replaced. As viewers expressed outrage over the firing, that program, which featured a rotating cast of Fox News hosts, struggled mightily in the ratings.
