These correspondences make explicit references to Mr. Biden’s participation in their respective business ventures. According to available records, there have been instances where the Justice Department has made attempts to prevent IRS and FBI officials from conducting investigations into Mr. Biden while they were looking into allegations of tax fraud and gun crimes involving Hunter Biden.
