As part of a previously agreed hostage-for-prisoner swap deal, Hamas has recently released 13 civilian hostages to the Red Cross. The hostages were scheduled to be released at the Rafah Crossing, which is located at the border between Gaza and Egypt. In case of any urgent medical needs, helicopters were prepared to transport the individuals to Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Petah Tikva, Israel.
