Charlotte, NC — In a new piece of propaganda at CNN, the site tries to push the idea that President Joe Biden understands the United States just like former President Donald Trump and is fulfilling the promises that Trump made on the campaign trail. Of course, they immediately draw the contrast that Biden would never “berate allies or set a mob on the US Capitol.”
In the article, CNN tries to claim that Biden is delivering on promises that the former President made during his campaign, such as ending the war in Afghanistan. They intentionally leave out the part that Donald Trump had the withdrawal plan set to occur 4 months earlier than Joe Biden and Biden purposefully delayed that withdrawal. In fact, he took the opportunity in announcing the withdrawal to head over to Arlington National Cemetery for a photo opportunity.

Anyone else remember when CNN berated Trump for his pictures at the Church near the White House? Or, perhaps, now is a great time to remind CNN that by doing a simple search, you can find that Joe Biden voted to support the Afghanistan War in 2001, while he was still in the Senate.
The article continues and makes the claim, “Biden, like Trump and President Barack Obama before him, ran for office on a platform of extricating Americans from quagmires, spending the trillions such wars cost here at home and restoring economic fairness.” They purposefully mislead in their idea of economic fairness, as Donald Trump argued for fairness for all of America, while Joe Biden only argues for special treatment of minorities that Democrats believe will vote for them to keep them in power.
CNN then continues the argument saying that Biden is working to deliver on the infrastructure plan that former President Donald Trump wanted but could never achieve. We all remember the meetings that Donald Trump had with Democrats in the House attempting to work on an infrastructure plan. He wanted an infrastructure plan that would address things like roads, bridges, airports, etc. It seems there were a lot of Republicans that supported such a plan.
But the Democrat’s plan is more than just infrastructure as mentioned above. Their infrastructure includes portions of the Green New Deal, such as the modification and retrofit of buildings to make them more energy efficient. More than just retrofitting of buildings, they will continue to promote the Green New Deal and place more restrictions on the electricity grid, government regulation for clean electricity, and the plan will push for government investment and creation of jobs in “distressed communities.
The plan also focuses on things like broadband internet, which they want to place under the control of local governments or non-profits which will cave to political pressures for funding. They want to bring the government into the internet business competing against private business. This will quickly run private industry out of the internet provider space and allow Democrats full control over what you can access and see online.
The plan is far from an actual infrastructure bill, but it is the Green New Deal redefined. This is not a bill to help Americans, but rather a bill to further the Democrat’s plan for control and regulation of every aspect of American lives.
CNN claims that this is “just like” the plan that former President Donald Trump wanted to pass for Americans, but it is far from that plan. Donald Trump, while far from perfect, would have never passed such a plan that promoted socialist programs like these. You can attempt to redefine them and label them all you wish, but this plan is socialism and this piece from CNN is nothing short of propaganda.
This really is not surprising since the company’s own employees admit that they are engaged in spreading propaganda.
