Money, it is such an interesting topic. Apparently, Elizabeth Warren believes that money is so easy to come by. I’d love to hear what hard working, paycheck to paycheck American workers have to say about that. Maybe it is easy for her, but it is not so easy for normal people.
When asked about funding for her expensive proposals, Warren’s response? “There’s always money.’ Apparently when she needs trillions of dollars to pay for her plans, she can just walk to her money tree and pull down a branch.
Warren is living in a fantasy world where everything is easy to come by. On the surface it all sounds great, but we simply cannot afford these plans. It’s sad when even the Washington Post is willing to call out the fact that your proposals are too good to be true.
It’s easy for Warren to make these statements however, since she’s made millions in the same opportunities that she dose not want anyone else to enjoy. Recent reports are she made $1.9 million over a period of her career in private consulting and legal work. This would be in addition to anything else she made in her teaching roles.
If these large corporations were so horrible, why did Warren do work for them? It just goes to show that she will go anywhere the money is. Elizabeth Warren claims she cannot be bought by these companies, but her financial records show otherwise.
Some have argued that this position against Warren is sexist, but that’s simply not the case. Others have come out in support of Warren claiming this is what lawyers are worth. The fact is, she is simply being two faced in her arguments against these companies. Then you also have to consider her big spending plans.
This CNN article explains how Warren would add around 60% to the federal budget if she were elected and her plans enacted. Evidently, Warren is excited about the prospect of increasing the federal deficit and our reliance on countries such as China to invest in our debt.
Our country must get a handle on it’s debt issue. Our national debt continues to explode. The socialist plans will only compound the problem. We cannot afford to continue down this same path. I’ve discussed how there is not enough revenue to be generated to pay for the socialist plans. It’s time to face the facts, money does not come that easy!
