Charlotte, NC — Today is the last day of President Donald Trump’s administration. Your feelings about that may depend on which side of the political spectrum you are on. For the Left, they celebrate because their socialist dictator is about to take office. For those on the Right, there’s a wide range of emotions that are being expressed.
Many on the Right are disappointed. Over 74 million Americans voted for President Donald Trump to have a second term. Many of those believe the election is surrounded by a cloud of corruption. They believe the election was stolen and feel betrayed by their representatives who did not authorize a full investigation.
Others have reached peace and seem ready to move on. Many are already throwing President Donald Trump aside. He accomplished many things for them but now they embrace Joe Biden and how they can move forward. We are looking at you here, Mitch McConnell.
Partisanship aside, how will we all look back on President Donald Trump and his accomplishments? Will his administration be forever surrounded by the claims of insurrection and racism?
The left will do anything in their power to make sure that’s the case. But I think the real key is what happens in the next few weeks and four years.
President Donald Trump and his accomplishments are already written. We already know what he has accomplished, what he stood for, and how he said many things. Many liked his approach, others did not. Very few complained about the amazing economy they experienced during his time in office.
Now, America moves to the entire polar opposite of President Donald Trump. We move from someone who promoted freedom to someone who promotes government regulation. We move from a leader who supported business, to one that supports big government and organized labor.
We move from one who wanted to give you the chance to succeed in America and obtain the American dream to one who wants to give you what he believes you deserve. That is a big difference and the drastic change will have a toll on Americans in the next few years.
As Americans start seeing the radical push from the left, I expect many of them will again become frustrated with the leadership of Joe Biden. That is if he remains in office his entire term. I expect many to become frustrated with the same policies of Barack Obama, the socialist push, and the economic tightening we will experience through his horrible agenda.
If that happens, will President Donald Trump look like such a bad President as the left has claimed he is? If it happens, how would Trump look as a 2024 option?
They will continue to try and write the history of President Donald Trump as a failure. They will try to continue to share he is a racist, white supremacist, and that anyone who supported him is un-American. They will continue the war on conservatism, just like they did under President Obama.
I expect the Democrats will continue their impeachment push on President Donald Trump. They hope they can muster enough votes to prevent him from being an option in 2024. By all indications, they will fail in their efforts. Then, they will be left to answer for their misguided leadership once again in the United States.
When they are forced to answer for their failed policy, that is the point when history may change for President Donald Trump. Everything will be negative about him for the foreseeable future. Americans will become frustrated once again when they see that socialism will not work. They will become frustrated when big government regulation and socialism affects their business. At that point, President Donald Trump might not appear so bad after all.
