Majority of Americans support anti-American vaccine passport according to poll

Charlotte, NC — According to a Hill-HarrisX poll conducted early in April, 53 percent of registered voters support the government mandating COVID-19 vaccine passports.

Vaccine passports became a hot topic in April after Naomi Wolf warned that such passports will lead to a Chinese-style surveillance state and social credit system, regardless if it’s the government or businesses that institute it.

“I am not overstating this,” Wolf said. “I can’t say this forcefully enough. This is literally the end of human liberty in the West if this plan unfolds as planned.”

Wolf added: “It’s the end of civil society and they’re trying to roll it out around the world and it is absolutely so much more than a vaccine pass. I cannot stress enough that it has the power to turn off your life, or to turn on your life, to let you engage in society or be marginalized.”

The poll showed a shockingly high number of Republican voters, 40 percent, willing to strip fellow Americans of their civil liberties. Independent voters were split 50-50, and 69 percent of democrats supports the surveillance state measure.

The reason so many Republicans are willing to throw away personal liberty is because the standard line from Republican politicians has been that your rights come when you take the shot, not that they are inherent in you from God.

U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnel said: “So, we have a ways to go if we are gonna all really be back to normal by this summer. We still have a way to go here in Kentucky and all across America to get those shots in arms over the next few months.”

Six Republican governors have taken action regarding vaccine passports, however, the majority of those have offered the same thing as Democrat President Joe Biden.

The Biden administration has said that the government won’t mandate a passport but rather will work with businesses to violate the rights of Americans.

Jen Psaki, Biden’s press secretary, said: “There are a couple key principles that we are working from. One is that there will be no centralized, universal federal vaccinations database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential.”

Only Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Republican Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte have banned both government and businesses from instituting vaccine passports.

DeSantis signed an executive order on April 2: “Requiring so-called COVID-19 vaccine passports for taking part in everyday life-such as attending a sporting event, patronizing a restaurant, or going to a movie theater would create two classes of citizens based on vaccination.”

The order adds: “Businesses in Florida are prohibited from requiring patrons or customers to provide any documentation certifying COVID-19 vaccination or post-transmission recovery to gain access to, entry upon, or service from the business.”

DeSantis’ order does, however, allow businesses to continue forcing masks or require patrons to undergo symptom screenings.

Gianforte signed an executive order on April 13 which prohibits government from instituting passports as well as states: “Montana businesses are prohibited from requiring patrons or customers to provide any documentation certifying COVID-19 vaccination or post-transmission recovery to gain access to, entry upon, or service from the business.”

Utah was the first state to take any action regarding passports, passing a bill which was signed by Republican Gov. Spencer Cox in February prohibiting government but not businesses from instituting the passports.

Other Republican governors signing executive orders were Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on April 6, Idaho Gov. Brad Little on April 9 and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey on April 19. Each one prohibits general government entities from instituting vaccine passports but makes carve outs for other institutions, like schools and hospitals, as well as businesses.
