New York, NY — The new mayor of New York City is wasting no time continuing the ridiculous actions of liberals. He told ABC’s “This Week” that he is contemplating a mandate of booster shots for city workers.
In his first day in office, Eric Adams signed an extension of Bill de Blasio’s COVID tyranny on New Yorkers. He told ABC that mandatory boosters were the next move and he would determine if they were necessary in the future.
In his comments, Adams said, “It’s time to get vaccinated. It’s time to have the booster shots. You’re endangering yourselves, and you’re endangering the public and your family, as well.”
But the truth is that the vaccine boosters are not providing any additional protection from COVID. Breakthrough cases are occurring, even in those who are vaccinated and boosted.
Adams is making his decision based on COVID cases. New York has had some of its highest positive test rates in the past couple of weeks.
Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Sunday that positive test rates are not a good indication with Omicron. Why? Because multiple data points continue to show that Omicron cases are not needing hospitalization like previous COVID variants.
That has not stopped the Democrats and radical left on insisting that people obtain the vaccines and boosters. Even in his continued comments, Fauci stated that Americans should not be fooled by the data.
So Americans have been told to trust the science, which says that this latest variant is not as lethal as previous variants. Then, immediately they are told to ignore that science and just be obedient to government recommendations and mandates.
Americans are frustrated with ridiculous mandates and recommendations. Biden and Fauci both promised that vaccines would eradicate COVID, but it appears that herd immunity, which was touted by conservatives long before the vaccines were ever developed, was indeed the best response.
