Richmond, VA — Travelers along I-95 in Virginia have been stranded for hours following a snowstorm that quickly impacted the east coast. A local NBC affiliate shared an image taken from one of their helicopters showing drivers stranded in their cars.
STRANDED ON I-95: Drivers have been stranded for 15+ hours on part of I-95 in Virginia. The interstate was shut down Tuesday through the Fredericksburg area. Chopper4 flew over the scene. https://t.co/UQEv00pPUa

Drivers started responding to the message, sharing their stories and photos. Many reported being low on gas, out of gas, or having been stranded with kids and pets in the car.
Here are a few of their tweets and images:

As they shared their images, the replies were immediately rolling in from others on social media blaming Glenn Youngkin for the disaster.
The only problem? Youngkin has yet to take office. Beloved Democrat Ralph Northam is still in office and has neglected these people stranded on the interstate.
How's that new governor workin' out for ya ?

Well, this is not a good start or look for Virginia's Gov. Glenn Youngkin. https://t.co/NEm5qg8zTO

Northam’s office claims that it has been working through the night to help those stranded. It is unclear what timeframe that the government is looking at in order to help these people escape from the cold conditions.
An emergency message is going to all stranded drivers connecting them to support, and the state is working with localities to open warming shelters as needed.
While sunlight is expected to help @VaDOT clear the road, all Virginians should continue to avoid 1-95.

One has to ask though, where is Joe Biden in this? The event has taken place just a short distance outside Washington DC, but Biden has remained silent on the matter. He has had no issues intervening in local and state situations before.
It just seems like more proof that the Democrats are more concerned with power than they are with helping Americans.
